IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE
With effect from today we have suspended our Post Office & Newsagents Services including delivery & collection of Newspapers and Magazines. The shop will be fully closing in the coming weeks.

We will however re-open for a short period of time with a view to selling off remaining stock at reduced prices, including our lovely card selection; fixtures and fittings at a date to be advertised. So watch out for this space.

To all our loyal customers thank you sincerely for your custom and support over the past 6 plus years.

So we were late in from Venice and missed our flight connection to Jersey so an overnight stop and I’ve managed to get BA flight London to Newcastle today!!

Great ….. now relaxing with a Manhattan cocktail in the BA lounge.

Marion on standby to Jersey st lunchtime as all flights booked up till 7 pm tonight …. Fingers crossed!!!

COVID POLICY 19th July 2021

Following government guidance and the Post Office views we have taken the decision to continue our COVID 19 shop policy.

Therefore, we respectfully request that face masks are worn before entering the shop and that a two meter distance is maintained. Also only 2 customers at a time.

This is thought to be a prudent approach to protect both our staff and valued customers given the size of the shop.

We will continue to monitor the situation.

I would just like to say a big thank you to Lesbury Parish Council for the kind donation of a picnic bench and seating to enable our customers to enjoy a cuppa /refreshment at our store. It is gratefully received. All welcome to come and enjoy. We look forward to serving you all.

Also I would like to say a big thank you to Anne and John Molloy who plant and tend to the gardens and floral displays which make this village so beautiful.

Customers and residents admire and comment on the floral displays outside our shop every day and I ensure that I let them know that John and Anne work all year round to keep the village looking loveĺly and do not receive the credit they deserve for their voluntary work. So thank you very much John and Anne.
