❤💙❤ I know some of you will disagree with this as usual, however I want to point out that this was as useless and pointless and waste of time questioning as I have ever seen. Some of you will probably disagree about the fact that I recorded this and posted it online but a lot of you are already aware that I practically record everything as so much stuff that I haven't recorded previously has come back to bite me in the 'bum' and I do not appreciate being blocked in my own drive like some criminal for no reason whatsoever. None of this interaction made sense! "You wanted to speak to me but you had no time to speak with me. So why did you block me in my drive and come out of your car? You thought the shop was open and you was just going to come into the shop to get my number which you already have on file anyway. You want to talk to me about a video that was posted online but don't even know or won't tell me if the video was uploaded by me or someone else or even what the video is about. You are a local PC that has been here a number of years and even though I own a licensed premises you don't know who I am and there is part of the problem." The police do not take the time to get the know local business people, they never come to see us to see how we are getting on or if we are encountering any problems and I know for a fact that some of you will say that when I need the police I will call them but that works both ways too, the police ONLY come and see me when they need me or my CCTV footage. So in the last four weeks or so, I have had to deal with a complaint made to Monmouthshire County Council that was dealt with and ended with the council apologising (call and emails uploaded on here) and now this. It seems once again, that someone who has too much time on their hands has made a complaint

❤💯❤ Thank you to everyone who liked and shared our recent post about our 17th anniversary at Londis Rother Avenue Abergavenny All of the items in the video are being donated to Nevill Hall Hospital later today. All the items were purchased to keep the NHS, who are doing a remarkable job in keeping us safe, on their feet and to be able to have a quick energy boost on the go. Thank you again to all of our wonderful customers and your loyalty and support over the last 17 years!! Here's to a few more!! Becks. ❤💯❤
👍👍👍 Just wanted to say a big MASSIVE THANK YOU to the person/s who felt the need to get in touch with Monmouthshire County Council to raise concerns about the amount of people we are allowing in the shop! My staff and I trying our hardest in difficult times to ensure our shelves are full and staff members and customers are kept completely safe in the process! I have put a number of posts regarding this on various pages and groups and we continue to adhere to guidelines that have been set out by the government. There are also a number of signs both on the entrance and in the shops at both sites. Images of email correspondence and a few previous posts I've put up are attached along with a recording of the call I made to the council. I hope this alleviates any concerns any members of the public may have. We will continue to provide for the community as best as we can during these difficult times, BUT, if we are forced to close (not that it's going to happen), the WHOLE community will lose out, not just me and my staff. I would also like to add A REAL BIG THANK TO ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS FOR YOUR ONGOING CUSTOM AND THE LARGE NUMBER OF MESSAGES OF SUPPORT WE ARE RECEIVING ON A DAILY BASIS.
