We’re looking for someone:

This will be a part time, seasonal contract - with this ending in October - but with potential to keep part time hours over winter if the business allows! 🥳

No experience is necessary, as full training will be provided! 🖊 📄

Come and join us on Good Friday!

On Friday, 15th April we are having a Water Sports fun afternoon.

It's free and can be booked online via the DYC website (for members) - https://webcollect.org.uk/dyc/event/easter-bunny-medley-friday-15th, non members please call Liz on 07974777384.

Our friends at Let’s SUP and Dovey Rowing Club are kindly going to take us afloat for a couple of hours between 2pm and 4pm.

In addition this year there will also be a Sea Swimming session and to give you some peace of mind DYC safety boats will be in attendance. If you haven't braved the water before, this is the ideal opportunity to give it a go.
Both open water swimming and paddle boarding are becoming increasingly popular throughout the UK and so it's our intention to offer access to both, as often as possible.
Lets SUP will take groups of 4 with 2 instructors for either 1 or 2 hour sessions depending how many rise to the challenge. Meet at 1.30pm on the water from 2pm to approx 4pm.
See their set up at https://letssup.co.uk. Minimum age 12 for Sups. 8 places available. What better place to paddle board?
Our friends at the Dovey Rowing Club will take us afloat in two of their 24 foot Celtic long boats. Depending how we progress and subject to numbers they may set up a race between 2 teams (winners buy the beer?). They will take us from 2pm until 3.30pm. Thats plenty of time as a rower apparently! Want to join us for a Sea swim? We will meet at the slipway at 3.30pm. This will certainly wake you up ready for an active sailing weekend - and the good news is we have seen no jelly fish yet! Feel free to wear a wetsuit, swimsuit, woolly hat or whatever makes you feel comfortable. We shall swim along the shoreline and back getting the full cold water benefits.
The bar will be open afterwards.
