🧀30g Co-op British Grated Mature Coloured Cheddar Cheese (£3.19 for 250g)
🥚 2 Co-op Scottish Free Range Medium Eggs (£1.79 for 6pk)

🍝 Delicious Homemade Lasagne – Easy Recipe Using Nisa Local Products! 🍝

Craving a classic, hearty meal? Try this simple and delicious lasagne recipe using fresh ingredients from Nisa Local Back Hilton! Perfect for a family dinner, and it's easy to make. 😋👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

What you'll need:
🛒Co-op British Beef Mince 20% 500g – £3.99
🛒Co-op Plain Lasagne Sheets 500g – £1.40
🛒Co-op British Mild Cheddar Grated 250g – £3.29
🛒Dolmio White Lasagne Sauce 470g – £2.99
🛒Co-op Italian Passata 500g – £0.79
🛒Co-op Onions 3pk – £1.19 (£1 on promo right now!)
🛒Salt & pepper to taste

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan/gas mark 6). 🔥
1. Finely chop one onion 🧅 and sauté on low heat until soft.
2. Add 500g Co-op British beef mince 🥩, breaking it up as it browns.
3. Once browned, stir in the 500g passata 🍅 and season with salt 🧂 and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes, then set aside.

Step 2: Layer up!
1. In an oven-safe dish 🥘, add a thin layer of the meat sauce, followed by a layer of lasagne sheets.
2. Repeat the process with two more layers of meat and pasta 🍝.
3. Finish with a layer of Dolmio White Lasagne Sauce on top.
4. Sprinkle a generous amount of grated cheddar cheese 🧀.

Step 3: Bake for 30 minutes ⏲️.
1. The cheese should be golden brown, and the pasta cooked through. Test with a knife 🔪 to ensure it's soft.
2. Serve with a side salad 🥗 or veggies 🥦 and enjoy your homemade lasagne! 😍🍽️

- Co-op Onions (3-pack) - £1.19 (for 1 onion)
- Co-op Garlic (3-pack) - £1.29 (for 1 garlic clove)
- Co-op Beef Mince (20% fat, 500g) - £3.99
- Co-op Olive Oil (500ml) - £4.99 (for 2 tablespoons, approx. £0.50)
- Napolina Red Kidney Beans (400g) - £1.00
- Napolina Chopped Tomatoes (400g) - £1.20
- Heinz Tomato Ketchup (460g) - £3.35 (for 2 tablespoons, approx. £0.30)
- GIA Sundried Tomato Puree (80g) - £1.19 (for 1 tablespoon, approx. £0.15)
- Knorr Beef Stock (8-pack) - £2.19 (for 500ml, approx. £0.55)

🧅Onion and Garlic Prep: Peel and dice the onion like you’re trying to hide your tears from a sad movie. Chop the garlic finely, unless you enjoy an unexpected surprise of garlic breath later.

🧄Sauté Time: Heat up some olive oil in a large pan over medium to high heat. Once the oil is hotter than a summer day, toss in the onions and garlic. Stir them around like you’re dancing at a wedding for 5 minutes, making sure they don’t burn out of sheer embarrassment.

🥩Beef it Up: Throw the beef mince into the pan, breaking it up with a wooden spoon like you’re taking out all your work frustrations. Cook until it’s nicely browned – think of it as achieving your “adulting” badge.

🌶️Flavour Explosion: Sprinkle in the chili seasoning and a splash of stock, then give it a good stir. Add tomato puree and cook for another minute, just enough time to start imagining how good your kitchen will smell. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and the rest of the stock, because we’re aiming for “soup-er” chili here.

🍅Simmer with Patience: Gradually mix in the ketchup – yes, ketchup, because we’re classy like that. Let the chili simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Try not to eat it all with a spoon while you wait; that’s what the rice is for.

🌱Rice and Beans: Pop your rice in the microwave while the chili simmers. Drain the kidney beans and add them to the chili for a couple more minutes. It’s like a party in the pan, and everyone’s invited.

🍲Taste and Serve: Give the chili a taste test and season with salt and pepper as needed. Serve it on a bed of fluffy rice or with nachos. Extra points if you eat it while wearing sweatpants and binge-watching your favourite show. Enjoy!
