We still have a few tickets available for our sparkling wine tasting on the 25th of October, to get you in the mood, take a look at this great sparkling wine from Ferrari.

In the northern province of Trentino, the Ferrari Winery has been producing exceptional wines for well over 100 years. It was founded with the vision of competing with the best Champagnes, and is amongst most celebrated sparkling wine makers in Italy.

Nestled in the heel of the boot of southern Italy, between Brindisi and Lecce, the Candido Winery has been in existence since 1929. Extending over 110 hectares, the Winery produces varietals such as Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia, and Susumaniello amongst others.

Borsalino Bottle Shop is an independent fine wine, craft beer and small batch spirits merchant in Peterculter, Aberdeen. Since 2015 we have brought unique Italian red, white, rose and sparkling wines to the west end of the city for both pick up and delivery.

To get you in the mood here‘s a quick low down of one of the Tuscan wineries we stock from:

Rocca di Montemassi is situated in the Maremma wine region in southern Tuscany, 140km south of Florence. Offering a diverse selection of whites, rose and red blends, the winery has obtained certification for it’s sustainability practices in recents years.

In the shop we stock a great white: Calasole Vermentino, and a great red: Le Focaie from this winery.
