Background
Luhedec is a 100 acre farm with some land let to a neighbouring dairy farm. The farm has been owned by the Elliott family holiday and ever evolving project since the early 1990s. The house is a modernised original farmhouse with double glazing and shutters. The river Naïc bends round the farm on the north and east side and there are several acres of beech and oak woods. The farm is at the end of a 1 km drive, so it is completely traffic safe and quiet. There is plenty of space around the house which is mostly grass with a patio
Outside
Outside you will find various paths leading to the woods and river meadows. The various woods are wonderful and full of surprises. The river meadows, which extend for 800m, may have cattle grazing them. The river is usually very clean with brown trout and we regularly splash about in it. You may see kingfishers, egret, heron, water rat, wild boar, barn owls, tawny owls, hares, red squirrels, polecat and fish. You are welcome to fish, bearing in mind you should have a license if adult. The uphill barn can be used for parking. Below the buildings there is an orchard and lake. Rates
