Here are the opening hours of the visits. Visits last around 1h30, with 2 slots: 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.
They allow you to take the time to discover the Maison Gautier, its history and almost all its secrets!

Did you know that Maison GAUTIER was located in an ancient watermill ? We always have been since 1755, the date Maison GAUTIER was officially founded !
Thanks to the natural humidity of our cellars, our Cognacs develop an exceptional smoothness and roundness.

Do you know what "Dame-jeanne" means ? It is a big glass bottle that can contain up to 50 liters in which we pour our Cognac to stop it from aging. Our oldest Cognac stored in a Dame-jeanne in our paradise cellar dates back from 1840.

Did you know ? We store our oldest and most precious eaux-de-vie in a very special cellar called The Paradise Cellar. The oldest date back as far as 1840 !

Happy Valentine's day !
Let's not forget that Maison Gautier was born from the love story of Charles Gautier, the descendant of a forest owner family based in Tronçais and Jacquette Brochet, the daughter of a winegrower. From this fusion between wine-making and quality oak heritage, a new passion was born, the one of crafting Cognac.
