Dear All,

The USP Fitness Centre will be closed on Friday 12th July from 8am onwards for general cleaning and maintenance works.
We will resume operations on Saturday 13th July at the usual weekend opening hours of 7am to 5.45pm.
If you wish to get your training in this Friday, please come early from 5am to 8am after which doors will close.

Part-Time Rota Work

Up to 20 hours a week


The Opportunity

USP Book Centre is inviting students to apply for part-time intern jobs.

Based at Laucala Campus and working on a rotational basis, you will be involved in:
• Assisting the team with:-
 Shelving inventory items
 Extracting and packing inventory
 Packing of course materials
 Stock-take
 Cleaning and tidying the retail shop floor
• Delivering customer service;
• Operating the point-of-sale system;
• Assisting staff in various other general duties

The Person We Seek

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals who are interested in building on their knowledge in a practical environment.

To be shortlisted, applicants need to meet the following criteria:

• Be registered as an active student in Semester Two, 2024
• Have good communication & customer service skills;
• Is a team player, willing to work flexible hours
• Previous work experience in the area of customer services is an advantage
• Is a Fijian citizen

Remuneration: The position is available for six months at an hourly rate of $5.00 per hour for a maximum of 20 hours per week.

The University Book Centre has an abundance of books for all ages and interests.
