Amazing 🩷

As we kickoff 2024, we wanted to say a big thank you to all who have supported us through 2023. Not just buying bottles, attending festivals or tastings, but for your encouragement in what we do.

2023 was another big year with more bottlings than before, the launch of Middle Cut (general release coming in early 2024) and some great cask buys which will no doubt be coming soon(ish).

2024 promises not just more interesting and varied tastings, but the final two releases in the Jim McEwan Signature Collection (can you believe that’s 7 down and 2 to go?), Dramfool's Gold first release, and to start us off in style, the newly designed Dramfool range.

After 67 releases it’s time to change the livery... watch this space. 👀

Dramfool are delighted to continue our support with WhiskyUA (www.WhiskyUA.com) and their important fundraising work for humanitarian charities in Ukraine. The first two bottlings were a sell out success and the funds raised have been distributed on the ground where needed most.

The 4th bottling in the series is a 7-year-old (and a day!) Tullibardine first matured in a bourbon cask being finished for 11 months in a first fill Bordeaux barrique. Bottled at 46% and yielding only 348 bottles. Bottled to celebrate Ukraine’s long fight and staunch belief in their freedom it was originally released on 24th August 2022 to celebrate the day 31 years ago Ukraine originally declared its Independence.

And we are off again, second bottling this week getting ready for shipments next week. Still a few available on the website if you have missed out so far.

This 55th Dramfool release (perhaps) crowns a year of remarkable bottlings, but who knows what December might hold! We are proud to be bottling our 20 year old Bruichladdich distilled in 2002, just one year after the re-opening of the distillery we all have come to love so much. Following on from our sister 20 year old Port Charlotte’s earlier this year what more can we say but we are delighted to share these all with you.

Fully matured in 1st fill bourbon barrel, it has worked some magic over the decades. Thanks to Bruichladdich’s policy of filling casks at a higher than industry norm of 63.5% it has still retained a high strength of 59.0%!

As cherished as all the whisky that Jim created is to him, it is fair to say Octomore holds a special place. Pushing boundaries from its inception, it has set, broken and re-set records and what peat lovers can expect from peaty whisky. 🥃
