Aguacana Cachaça

Originally from Brazil, Cachaça Aguacana comes exclusively from the distillation of pure fermented cane juice from the sunny plantations of the Pernambuco region. It draws its success from its simplicity and the famous trendy cocktail, the Caipirinha. Perfectly balanced and with a pronounced taste of sugar cane, Cachaça AGUACANA sublimates Caipirinha by revealing all its character associated with lime.

What is cachaça?

Cachaça, also known as "pinga", "cana" or "caninha", is the national drink of Brazil. It is a brandy made from pure sugar cane juice and obtained by fermentation and distillation. According to Brazilian legislation, it must be produced exclusively in Brazil to have the name "cachaça".

What are the differences with rum?

Rum has its origins in the Caribbean when cachaça was born in Brazil. Distilled directly to the desired degree and immediately bottled, it differs from rum which is distilled to a higher degree and adjusted by adding water. This gives the cachaça more "dry" and "rustic" aromatic notes. Regarding the degree of alcohol, it is often higher for rum.

Chateau de la Jaubertie Cuvee Rose

Grape Varieties
60% Merlot
40% Cabernet Sauvignon

Vineyard notes
All the vines are situated on a plateau, on a limestone red clay soil. The vineyards are grassed down to create competition with the vines and naturally lower the yields to improve quality. All the vineyards are selected on high yelding vigorous soils. They are partially leaf removed in order to prevent grey rot but preserve fruit character. Since 2005, the vineyard has been converted to organic agriculture.

Winemaking notes
The grapes are mechanically harvested, then cold macerated. The clear juice is then fermented at cool temperature to retain fruit flavours.

Description
The result is a delicious fruit driven rosé : red and blackcurrant with perfect balance.

Food tasting
Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany light dishes.

Το Gin Fifty Pounds παράγεται σε ένα μικρό και θρυλικό αποστακτήριο που βρίσκεται στο Νοτιοανατολικό Λονδίνο, με μία παράδοση μεγαλύτερη των δύο αιώνων. Σύντομα μετά τη νομοθετική ρύθμιση GIN ACT 1736 εμφανίστηκε μία οικογένεια Λονδρέζων Ποτοποιών με μία αυθεντική συνταγή για gin, γνωστή μεταξύ τους ειρωνικά ως «Fifty Pounds» προς τιμή της εισφοράς Gin Act, χαρακτηριστικό του οποίου είναι η ιδιαίτερη απαλότητα και το άρωμά του. Λευκή οινοποίηση σε ανοξείδωτη δεξαμενή, με ζύμωση σε ελεγχόμενη θερμοκρασία μέχρι τους 16-18οC και ωρίμανση για 5 μήνες στις φίνες οινολάσπες με περιοδική ανάδευση Γευστικές Σημειώσεις: Μέτριο λεμονοπράσινο χρώμα, λεπτό άρωμα κίτρινων ανθέων, εσπεριδοειδών και αχλαδιού.
