Our Needs system has been affected by the global outage.
As a result, we are open, however we are limited to using only our PetroCan side and as such are limited to credit/debit only and all fuel is prepay/pay at the pump only (only for this issue, not a permanent change).
All transactions are being handled manually, so please bear with our staff.

It has been brought to our attention that customers are receiving emails from Petro-Canada stating that our store is pre-pay/pay at the pump only as of July 2nd.
This is not true nor do we have immediate plans for this, so we are not sure why this email was sent out. We are looking into it, but as of now everything remains business as usual.

We would just like to make a quick post regarding the linked RBC 3 cents off as there seems to be confusion regarding it.
The latest update that added Triangle Rewards to our system caused an issue with the RBC 3 cents off discount. The discount stopped working on secondary registers, but still works on the primary. This is not something that is fixable on a store level and we have been told it is a nationwide issue. Petro-Canada is working to resolve the problem on their end.
We apologize and have signage at our secondary register informing the linked card discount will not work on that one to hopefully catch it before payment.

A quick update on the Petro system. Petro-Canada had a cyber attack last week and the system is still recovering. Fleet cards, linked cards and gift cards appear to be working in store, but not consistently at the pumps.
All regular debit and credit cards are working in store and at the pumps.
The Petro Points system is still down, including the site and app. However, the system is keeping track of points earned and you will receive any due to you when the system is restored. Petro-Points redemptions are not available. We do not know when this will be back up.

We will be having an upgrade on our Needs system Tuesday, May 30th. We will be open and this will not affect fuel sales, however we will be down to one cashier for parts of the day as the system is upgraded, so please bear with us 🙂
