As we soon head into our VERY busy summer season………☀️🌼

We are accepting resumes to add to our team members! We will most likely be looking at hiring 2 people and would like to get them trained and in place prior to the busy season. The successful applicants should be trustworthy, reliable, have initiative and the ability to interact in a positive manner with coworkers and customers. Experience in a previous retail position is an asset however the position will include training. Applicants must also be at least 19 years of age as we are an NSLC agency outlet location. Hours will include weekday/weekend and day/evening shifts.

We’ve heard and are thrilled that it was a successful Setting day for our local fishermen/women. I bet I’m not alone in being excited for the first taste of Northumberland Strait lobster…….I can’t wait! 🦞I would be remiss if I did not thank our partner, Derado's Pizzeria and Donair who, like every year, donated pizza toward our annual tradition. Habib’s connection to the community and the support of it is unwavering and unmatched. We are forever grateful for him. 💙

So, to celebrate the start of another successful lobster season we’ve decided to do 3 separate 10lb draws! The first of which will begin Thursday when you’ll see a ballot box 🗳️ set up at the store. So, for every transaction made in-store between Thursday, April 24th - Monday, April 28th you will enter your name into the draw. We will notify the lucky winner on Tuesday, April 29th at which time they can decide when they’d like their tasty treat!

We’ll, round this out with a second draw for Mother’s Day, in May and a third draw for Father’s Day, in June.

We’re not sure if you’ve noticed, but the world has been kind of a dumpster fire of late. With that in mind, we plan to approach this summer season a little differently than we normally do. You should expect to see several more contests and draws, like this one, in the coming months. It might be for concert tickets, it might be for a barbeque…… who knows, but we’re really looking forward to giving you something to be excited about and look forward to………hoping it might help us forget that the world seems unmanageable and a little scary at times. Join us in trying to make the best of it!

We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Easter 🐣 weekend with family and friends.

We’re taking this time to let you know that we won’t have pizza available today as we prepare for tomorrow’s “Setting Day” for our local lobster 🦞 fishermen/women. As we have for many years now, there will be FREE pizza 🍕 hot dogs & sausage 🌭 tomorrow for all of our hardworking folks down on the wharf as they prepare for their first day of the season.

Come in and see us tomorrow and we’ll keep your belly filled!
