On December 1st 2016, David and Vlasta Booth became the proud owners of Victoria’s Birdcage Confectionary. A staple in Victoria’s oldest neighbourhood, James Bay, since 1915, the Birdcage Confectionary continues to operate to serve the neighbourhood selling fresh cut flowers, local cheeses, chocolates, and of course the bags of barley to feed the local duck population! Previously owned and operated for 30+ years by Barbara Marriot and Craig Butler, the store continues to run as a small family operation. David and Vlasta both grew up in Victoria and at different times through the years resided in James Bay. They are now excited to be a part of this vibrant and historic neighbourhood. Stop by and say hello!
