If these words describe what you’re after, then we have just the thing! Coming from Quebec, Pastoral Mirror from Joy Hill Farmhouse is a blend of 56% Frontenac noir and 44% Riesling, and boy is it ever fun! Dry but bursting with juicy red fruits, cranberry, and strawberries, this wine is best served chilled and enjoyed in the autumn sunshine!

Check out this tasty biodynamic Pet-Nat from Hungary! Kristinus Ancestral Sárgamuskotály is made from 100% Yellow Muscat grapes, is biodynamic and made with low intervention winemaking techniques. This bubbly treat is crisp, dry, and delightfully aromatic, with notes of fresh wildflowers and ripe tropical fruits.

Bursting with ripe red fruits and cinnamon notes, the red blend (Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Castelão & Touriga Nacional) is well balanced with smooth tannins and a complex finish.

This beautiful rosé, a blend of 90% Tibouren, a rare and ancient grape, and 10% Grenache - is produced on the Mediterranean shores of Provence. Floral and herbaceous, with light spice and orange peel, this wine can complement a variety of different dishes but would go especially well with rustic roast chicken and vegetables . With the dog days of summer coming to an end, be sure to get into this full bodied red to warm you up in the oncoming Autumn weather. Coming from Stellenbosc, South Africa, Mulderbosch Vineyards Faithful Hound is a decadent blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot with a few other Bordeaux varieties in the mix. This wine is dark, earthy and juicy with notes of black cherry, cedar spice, and to***co, with fine tannins and a long finish. It would be a great addition to steak, or mushroom and lentil pie. 🦴 Bone Appétit!

✨Exciting natural wine alert✨

Keramos Amphora Red from Northern Greece is a 50/50 blend of Limnio and Xinomavro and has been fermented and matured in amphorae: These ancient winemaking vessels allow slow oxidation to occur through their porous clay walls - a process that provides the wine a rich and deep texture. You can expect earthy aromas, with dried plum, figs, herbs, maraschino cherry, a prominent tannic structure, and lively acidity. That was a mouthful! And this wine will be too!

Family run since 1915, Visintini from Friuli Venezia Giulia is making some really beautiful biodynamic wines that range from elegant to rustically charming. We have three wines we’d like to tell you about:

Their Friulano is elegant and floral, with notes of chamomile, peach, almond and apple. Bright and refreshing.

The rose, made from 100% Merlot, is like a basket full of berries. Medium bodied and offers abundant red fruit, spice and a beautiful fresh and rounded flavour.

Once nearly extinct but now a regional icon, Schioppettino would be a hit for anyone looking for a light to medium bodied red. Loads of plush black fruits, violets, and spice, with a soft and smooth texture.

Come in and grab a bottle (or three)!

Biodynamic farming and a rustic countryside home has done wonders with these beautiful wines from Giordano Lombardo.
Elegant and delicate with aromas of fresh hay, crisp apple, and acacia flowers, this Gavi is a
beautiful expression of the Cortese grape.
The Barbera is elegant yet intense with red fruit - particularly cherries - medium tannins, and a long lasting finish.
We’ve got both Liberty-exclusive bottles here at our Commercial Drive location and we’d highly recommend trying these tasty wines!

A cool climate pinot noir from Tasmania, Simha Nature is brimming with raspberry, baking spice, and Australian flora, with fine and rounded tannins. Light and beautifully perfumed, this wine would be an amazing accompaniment to peking duck, salmon or mushroom risotto.
Domaine Simha produces its wine in micro batches, combining an ancestral and avant-garde approach, which includes harvesting fruit by hand according to the lunar cycle, foot stomping, and fermentation in clay amphorae, ceramic eggs and large custom demi-muid oak barrels. All wines are basket-pressed and bottled unfined and unfiltered. This lo-fi technique allows the fresh Tasmanian terroir to shine through!
