We feel this is of utmost importance to share this with our customers and fellow businesses in North Dundas.
As many of you know we are huge supporters of our volunteer Fire Department and the volunteer Firefighters who selflessly give their time to assist others.
I have seen first hand both sides, of the volunteers responding to those requiring the assistance be it for a medical emergency or fire, and those in an emergency situation. 𝙎𝙀𝘾𝙊𝙉𝘿𝙎 𝙈𝘼𝙏𝙏𝙀𝙍!

The closure of your local Fire Station will significantly impact the response time of these volunteers. Not only will this put you and your property at risk but could also cause further risk to those volunteers responding as the situation intensifies.
The South Mountain Station 2 was built approximately 20 years ago, and is the response hall for approximately half of the volunteers from Station 2 (this region of North Dundas). Will these volunteers need to drive an additional 10km (9min) to respond from Hallville Station to your emergency or further if responding from Wi******er?
