Loonie Pot will be frozen at $15,000 for the fourth week.

We found out a LOT about advancements in programs and apps and technology available to all of us...young and old.

WE'RE BACK!

Our FIRST GAME BROADCAST of the new year will be on Wednesday, January 8th.
The LOONIE POT DID NOT GO last time we played so...
on Jan.08...it will be $15,000 for the third week.

On the phones will be Vivien Morrison who joined our club in 2024 and Debbie Dalton, with us now for two years. Both of these awesome members found committees they wanted to volunteer on...right away after joining.

Ken McLeod is one of our long time members but relatively new to volunteer at the controls but will be there this Wednesday ( thanks Ken) and K.J. Mac Donald will try his best...yet again...to start the New Year off with a great big giveaway.

On behalf of the entire club I'd like to thank everyone who follows our page for either Bingo, our community service projects or just to show on-line support, we greatly appreciate it.

We give you our pledge to continue our 40 year commitment to youth in our community and, since Covid, vulnerable adults when we can.

Be mindful and safe out there...wherever you may be on this New Year's Eve 2024.
May 2025 bring you MUCH happiness and very little, if any, sadness.

Today... Christmas Eve 2024... a group of our members joined other volunteers at Loaves and Fishes to get the tables fully ready and also help serve the special Christmas Dinner to 146 patrons.
We also stayed for the cleanup afterwards.

The patrons sat and were served like one huge family, and felt, I'm sure, like a family in many ways during this event today. Each and every one of them was filled with gratitude for that part of today.

Heart-rendering and just a delight to take part in, The Kiwanis Club of Cape Breton Golden K looks very much forward to this event each year.

We donated $1000.00 to Loaves and Fishes today as well as our 39 hands-on hours all tolled.
