"An LCBO strike does not impact the approximately 2,300 private retail points of sale across the province, including through LCBO Convenience Outlets, licensed grocery stores, The Beer Store, and winery, brewery, cidery, and distillery outlets, as well as at bars and restaurants."

As per the LCBO website, convenience outlets will not be affected directly, although it may affect/limit the stock we can bring in moving forward. We have had many calls already today, so we wanted to clarify for anyone wondering.

Public Services Procurement Canada (PSPC) is advising that the LaSalle Causeway will be fully closed to all public access for the next several weeks as ongoing repair work takes place and engineering safety assessments are conducted.

There are so many contests and ways participate and have fun at the festival! Check em' out!
🏠 If you live between Round Lake Road and Ramparts Road and on Wellington between Battersea Road and Milburn Road or anywhere in between, you're automatically entered into the Village House Decorating Contest! All fall/ harvest/ spooky themes are welcome.
🟠 Next year is the 30th annual Battersea Pumpkin Festival. To celebrate, we're bringing back the classic admission button! All we need is a fabulous design from people like YOU. That's right, your art could be featured on the 2024 milestone celebration button! Entry sheets will be available at the festival, entries will be accepted until Halloween.
🎃 The Pumpkin Tower will be back! Take a guess at the combined weight of all the pumpkins. Each visitor will get a guess-the-weight ballot at the admission gates.
🥧 The Famous Pie Eating contest will return once again at the ball field home-plate! Sign up for the lottery entry at the admission gate and get ready for some messy-sticky-pie-filled-fun! Contests starts at 3:15 pm.

Thank you for being on this journey with us.
Maybe you've been with us from day one as the Merc blossomed and grew along the way. Maybe you joined us midway, or maybe you're pretty new around here.
We thank you all for your business. Whether we see you regularly, you make us a stop when you're in this neck of the woods or anywhere in between you matter to us.
Rooted in good ol' fashioned service means to us personal connection with our customers and the community we do business in.
We are blessed to have staff who share the connections and hopefully make a difference in your day each time you stop in.
10 years is an accomplishment we couldn't have done without dedicated staff and the best customers around. We are proud of how far we have come and cannot wait for what the future holds.

We are open ... BUT ... roads are reported currently closed, only emergency services & plows as per Frontenac OPP.
Most staff couldn't make it in, and that is ok. Those in now were picked up earlier and will be returned safely.
We care about our community and understand the value of the services we can provide in these wild times.
