Merry Monday was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone that came and sang with Valdy and mingled with your neighbours. Tremendous effort by all involved in organizing and attending! What a great event! 653 represent!

The weather was perfect (if highly unseasonal) and we already can’t wait for next year.

Now it’s time to take a tiny break…

We are closing today (Dec 24) at 5:00pm so we can spend Christmas Eve with our eagerly waiting families. We will remain closed Christmas Day and we will be back at ‘er Boxing Day at 9:00am.

There’s a storm a-coming and it sounds like a bad one!

B.C. Ferries have decided to cancel the last 2 sailings this evening! The 7:50 leaving Fulford has officially been canceled due to weather, as well at the 9:00pm leaving Swartz Bay to Fulford.

The worst place to be ahead of these storms is at one of our local grocery stores, especially on 10% Tuesday! It will be madness.

May we respectfully suggest avoiding the chaos and popping into Mercantile to re-up your supplies? We have everything you need from candles to chardonnay to make this inclement weather a little more fun than scary!

Stay tuned for updates and remember we have a generator so even when the power is out, we are here for YOU!

Chef Russ has been baking up some tasty treats and the theme is apples!
