Look what arrived today! My husband bought me a soap cutter that will cut a whole loaf of cold process soap at once, giving uniformity to every bar’s shape and size. I am beyond excited. It came all the way from Croacia. I had other plans for tomorrow, but I think I’ll make some soap. 🥰 The hardest part will be waiting until Saturday to cut it. I may make a video. 😉 Thank you so much Mark! 😘

I’m testing the coating on the soap which protects the paintings I do. I do not guarantee the top will last the life of the soap. A lot depends on how much the soap is left to soak in water. However, if the soap is bought solely for decorative use, the soap will last a long, long time and the dust can be easily rinsed off.

These are my new bee honey soaps. They are fragranced with a sweet gentle honey fragrance. I hope you agree, they are beautifully hand painted and then a acrylic top is applied to help extend the life of the design. The top coat is not guaranteed to last the life of the soap but it will definitely extend the life of the design, unless the soap is left to soak in water for an extended amount of time. The soap wears off the back where nothing has been applied to inhibit the use of the soap . 🐝 The weight of each bar and price will be added to the pictures tomorrow. I will also add an ingredient list here tomorrow.

Honey Soap Ingredients
Honey Soap

If you are wondering why I haven’t updated my page, it’s because I’m working hard to set up my studio. I am so excited! However, we took a break. I was teaching my 10-year-old granddaughter how to make cold process soap. Here is a picture of Cali, suited up to make the soap with me and a picture of our finished product. Cali named the soap Cupid’s Dance for Valentine’s Day. 💘 It is fragranced with the gentle scent of wild roses, like the wild roses that grow along our Atlantic coastline. This soap will be for sale in time for Valentine’s Day. I will post price, ingredients etc. shortly. Christina Walker

Introducing my Pride n’Joy, my Butterfly Soap. The top of this soap will wear slowly and may even last for the duration of the life of the bar. This bar is hand painted and the technique is my own, both for painting and for my secret coating that keeps the top from wearing. This soap weighs approximately 120 grams. More colours and fragrances to come. Each bar is $15 and comes gift boxed.
