One of the organizations receiving a grant in 2023 was Rivers Collegiate Institute. They received $1,214.14 from The Bill & Helen Sibbald Legacy Fund and $1,000.00 from the RACF Community Fund for a total of $2,214.14 which was used to purchase an outdoor metal picnic table. The students of RCI can now enjoy studying, visiting and snacks in the fresh air outdoors.

It’s that time of year again…

School is starting, which means the speed limit is 30 km/hr in designated school zones within Winnipeg Monday – Friday from 7a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Outside of Winnipeg, if school zone signs do not specify a time frame, then reduced speed is always in effect.

Slow down, watch for kids and grownups, and help us keep roadways around schools safe!
