Stub's Long Point

A few of us are meeting at Stub's Long Point for a polar dip at noon on Jan 1st.

Anyone interested in joining a small group can meet us in the parking lot at 1145am at Stubs.

Please do your due diligence before deciding to attend and make sure you can safely "plunge", walk or dip in. Bring a towel, and anything else you'll need to quickly dry and warm up after.

Weather looks cool with temps around 0, and 30% POP.

What's Happening at Stub's Long Point this weekend?

1 - Hot Dogs for A Good Cause, a fundraiser for Rescue the Rescue Animal Shelter In Roatan. Featuring our $7 Hot Dog Meal Deal includes:
Hot Dog
Can of pop (or water)
Small Ice cream

$4 from every meal goes towards supporting the over 500 animals that were recently abandoned in Roatan (Honduras, where Penny spends the winter).

Come out between 12pm and 5pm for a HOT DOG! Bring your family and friends :)

2 - Pop up Art Sale, maybe your walls need a bit of colour, come see what we have.

We often talk about Stub's being a vibe. Today, that vibe is that of everlasting friendship, no matter how far life takes you.

The young women who visited us today are making the most of this moment, enjoying each other's company with excitement and nostalgia – they're amped up about the new chapter ahead and maybe even feeling a bit sentimental about their friendship, as they each venture off to their respective universities.

As the sun sets, we hope they're reminded that goodbyes are just the start of new hellos. That the bonds of friendship will never be broken by distance alone.

We also hope that every time they get ice cream, they're reminded of our little ice cream shop at Stub's and their time together at the beach paradise of Long Point!

Today's guests come all the way across the pond (and we don't mean Lake Erie)!

The family from England is going to enjoy the day on the lake with their brand-new boogie boards, some ice cream and i cool refreshing iced coffee!
