Our goal is to connect our local business and artisan communities, to promote the cultural well-being of our economy, residents, and guests, and expand the growth of Petrolia as an explorers destination.

Application Guidelines:
-open to all ages and genres
-work must be wall hangable OR artist must be able to supply proper display fixtures (easels, pedestals, etc.)
- must be able to transport their art to Petrolia by June 25 and pick up between July 9-11
-artists will be selected based upon suitability to local participating businesses. Canadian themes are a bonus!
- artists may leave biographical and contact information should a guest want to purchase your work. Artists will be promoted in a flyer handout during the exhibit, at local businesses, and at the info booth at Art in the Park.
- artists must not be a selected vendor of Art in the Park 2023
- to apply, please submit your name, phone #, and 3-7 photos of your work with approx dimensions to: [email protected]
- the pieces you submit for consideration must be the pieces you provide for display.

So we know you have all heard that we are moving to Grey - Lockdown on Monday. BUT there’s no reason we can’t continue to shop local and support our businesses!

Here are some tips to help our business owners:

1. Order take-out. Not just from your favourite restaurant but pick one at random and show them some love!

2. Shop local. Think Petrolia first!

3. Call/message or e-mail a closed business and order a gift certificate to help with cash flow until they can open their doors again.

4. Write a positive online review for a business! It doesn’t take long to leave a Google review, a Facebook review or a blog post about a business.

5. Be kind, say thank you and do your best to keep your dollars in your hometown!
