Roxanne is finally back in stock 🍾🍾🍾

It’s the perfect sparkling for all holiday celebrations!!

More fruit-driven than many Cavas, but with a good amount of ye**ty, biscuit notes mingling with the citrus, apple and white flowers. The sea foam mousse is creamy and spritzy, adding complexity to the tangy citrus flavours and stony minerality. Crisp and refreshing with a long, complex finish.

We are currently pouring the Roxanne, make sure to try it when you’re here & of course grab a bottle (or two) for the holidays!🥂🥂

It’s time for a TAP TAKEOVER!

Join us on November 26th & 27th when The Tasting Room is being taken over by the one and only Tenuta Olim Bauda from Piedmont, Italy! 🇮🇹🍷

What better way to taste wine than to get the actual winemaker to bring you that next level experience. We are doing things a little differently on these days, you can book for groups of 2-4 through our site and order any wine we have from their portfolio that we currently have in stock (there are many!) as well as our usual fare from Chef Archer.

There is no set menu or deposit, just book it now before this amazing opportunity gets filled up! If you don’t see a time that works give us a call to see if we can squeeze you in!

We can’t wait to have you experience a true wine tasting from one of our favorite wine producers in Italy! 🥂 🙌🏼

Wine of the week! This week we are featuring the 2023 Rabbit Hole Pinot Noir from Simpsons Wine Estate! ✨

Simpsons Wine Estate is located in one of the sunniest corners of the British Isles. Proprietors Charles and Ruth have further safeguarded their vines against extremes in climate by selecting sloping vineyards that face almost due south, ensuring heat accumulation in the day, and excellent cold air drainage at night. The maritime influence is also crucial to the success of these vines. The property is less than eight miles from the coast on three sides, which helps insulate the fruit against intense variations in temperature.

On the palate, there are ripe, red berry flavours and hints of forest floor. Perfectly balanced with an elegant structure and silky tannins, leading to a lingering, textured finish. Serve at cellar temperature with seared duck breast, baby beef liver and onions or Beef Bourgignon. 🍷

Wine of the day - Beeslaar Pinotage! ✨ This is one of the world’s finest examples of the Pinotage!

There are some of the typical rough, edgy, savoury elements on the nose, but they are tempered by layers of blackberry, cassis, prune, tomato leaf and toast. The palate is full and smooth, although there are decent tannins and tons of fresh acidity.

Decant, then enjoy with lamb shank, hearty winter stews or BBQ ribs! Perfect for the Fall season. 🍂 🍷

✨Wine of the day!!!✨

Rară Neagră is bright ruby-coloured and extremely expressive on the nose, with aromas of sour cherry, cola, vanilla and baking spices. 🍒

The palate is mid-weight and refined, with a touch of firmness to the tannins. Sour cherry, red plum, blackberry and spice flavours are balanced by a fair amount of juicy acidity. This can enjoyed lightly chilled with burgers or garlic-laced sausages.

Wine of the day!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Explosive on the nose, Viorica is intensely perfumed and aromatic. White flowers, lychee, honeycomb and guava. The palate is rich for an unoaked white, but not viscous, as care was taken to retain acidity. The fruit is drier than the nose would suggest, but the tropical flavours persist. Minerality, tartness and lees savoury components add complexity. Chill well and enjoy with Thai curries, paprika laced stews or summer salads.

We are so happy to unveil a new lineup of British Columbia vinos from

This small producer from Okanagan Valley exemplifies what we love about the region, specializing in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

In celebration of the release of these wines, Stephan French, the founder of Little Engine, will be visiting us to host a special tasting on September 11th.

As usual, Chef Archer will have inspired cheese and charcuterie to go along with the wine tasting. 🧀

The Wine Making Series is here!!! 🍇

The Wine Making Series is our next style of event hosted by our very own Ani, who studied winemaking in Montpellier, France and Geisenheim, Germany. These classes will take place every Monday evening in July and each one will focus on a different style of wine.

The vino we consume undergoes a complex history from vine to table, so a deeper understanding can give another layer of appreciation when we taste! 🍷

Each evening’s class will be 2 hours with a break for cheese and charcuterie. 🧀
5-6 samples will be poured depending on the wine style. Questions and dialogue are always welcome throughout the class. Best of all…there’s no test! Just relax and enjoy.
