Hello Everyone !

Just a friendly reminder that Christmas ( I know there are some of you who don't want to even think about Christmas yet, but this has to be said) is only 6 WEEKS AWAY ! If you were looking to have a batch of WINE, BEER OR CIDER made and ready for bottling before Christmas you need to get ordering ASAP.

The last day to order a 4 week ferment wine is November 30th ! That is only 16 days or 12 business days left.

PERSONALIZED LABELS for gift wine batches, or for your own wine batches are available, along with GIFT CARDS in any denomination.

Great gift for the home wine, beer or cider maker as we carry lots of supplies or can be used to start a batch of wine, beer or cider!

Making your own wine is a great way to save some money over the holidays. Wine can be made for less than $4.00 a bottle (23 L = 31 750 ml bottles). Half batches are available.

Hello Everyone !
The Mystery Concert sponsored by Winemakers, et al., was great fun! Winemakers had a table right up front, feet from the stage with an unobstructed view! I think itis fair to say that most people were surprised when Gordon Deppe and Sandy Horne of The Spoons (now just 'Spoons') took the stage. Who remembers 'Arias & Symphonies', 'Nova Heart', 'Romantic Traffic', and 'Old Emotions'? We got to hear them all, and I think surprised ourselves at how well we remembered all the lyrics, even if they weren't your 'kind of music' back in the day! Sandy Horne impressed with her skill and speed on the bass guitar. She also brought out 'Stanley' a beautiful, deep base that charmed more than a few members of the audience.

Gordon reminded us that the 80's was like seeing people dressed up for Hallowe'en...for an entire decade ! For those of you who didn't live through the 80's at an age that it resonated with you, trust me, he's not wrong !

Spoons also treated us with a few of their new songs on an album coming out next year! Good for Gordon and Sandy, still pumping out the tunes at 59 and 57 years of age, respectfully.

Thanks to My FM, for the opportunity to be part of this fun experience. I am looking forward to participating in many more !

Maybe next time you could be there as a guest of WINEMAKERS !

If you are looking to book for a bottling on Saturday morninig please call me instead of using the online booking as it may not let you book for Saturday morning.

Cru Speciality Fall Seasonal Releases

Serve Decadence this Holiday Season with Cru Speciality Dessert Wines!
Our decadent Cru Speciality seasonal releases will be available again for order this August. Put on a batch in early August and enjoy it by the end of September and for the Holiday Season.
We are happy to announce the release of our NEW flavour, crème brûlée. This full bodied dessert wine features aromas of caramel, vanilla pods, and raisins with a suble toasty character, like that of crème brûlée on the palate. Enjoy an intense mouthfeel that balances this wine's decadent aromas.
Pairs well with crème brûlée, fruit tart, and apple pie.

Hungarian oak barrels - 23 L and 46 L. More sizes coming soon. Barrels are handmade, toasted and come with wooden stand and wooden b**g.

We also have 225 L Bulgarian oak barrels (dried for 3 years and toasted).

Existing Customers have until August 1st, 2018 to barrel oak a batch at no extra charge !!!

Happy (Warm) Wine Wednesday !!
In case you missed it on the news this morning...wines prices are expected to rise shortly due to the extreme cold experienced in parts of Europe in the last few months. For those of you who buy your wine from that large Ontario retailer of wine and spirits, that will be the second price increase since April 1st this year. You might want to consider buying at your local FOP (Ferment on Premesis) WINEMAKERS !!!. In case you've been asleep for the last few months or don't live in the listening area of myFM Orangeville, you can purchase quality wine starting at $3.79 a bottle when you start a batch of one of our 148 varitiels within 5 levels, plus a level of fruit wine and a level of speciality wine (ice wine/port). We also make cider !!! And soon.....BEER !!! We are located at 283 Broadway....across the street from Bank of Montreal.
