Gid'day again Peeps!
*small edit to the opening time tomorrow*

So with tomorrow's list of essential services being published.... well... tomorrow.. I don't know what the outcome will be. All I can do is tell you what I "am" in control of. I will be quite busy tomorrow as I was today so I will be at the store tonight working until midnight if anyone feels the need to beat tomorrow's rush. Also, I will be opening early tomorrow as well. I will be here for 9AM. If that changes and I can make it early I will post it here. Please have patience tomorrow if its busier then normal.

As for my website, I will be working on it these next following days so its easier to see whats actually in stock as many new products are not listed.
I believe that shipping will still be an option after tomorrow.

Also, if you believe that v**e stores should remain open through these rough times, then please call your MPP and voice your opinion. Being down to the wire, it may or may not make a difference but its worth a try.

Due to the current events, we are remaining open but are not open to walk-in traffic. All transactions will be completed at the door to help stop the spread of any potential cases. Please call ahead if possible and I will have your order prepared for when you get here. You can also prepay with a credit card so there will me minimal contact at the door as well.

I am also offering a delivery service in Newmarket and also in Keswick. Keswick delivery will be done later this evening if anyone orders for there. Delivery in other areas may be possible as well but will be considered on each individual basis and will likely have a delivery fee. Please call for details as this will take some to configure.

Gid'day Folks!

Due to the current state that we are in, I wanted to inform you of a few changes here at The Canadian V**er.

Firstly, if you have any flu-like symptoms, please don't enter the store.
Please call ahead and we can arrange another way for you to get your order.

If you'd prefer not to enter the store, you can call and I can bring to your vehicle as payment can be easily done with the mobile payment processor.

Also, we do offer shipping as an option. The website needs major updating as many products are not on the website, but if you call in we can do your order over the phone and I can ship your order to you. If you spend $100 before tax, I will pay the shipping charges as well. We will remain open, but keep in mind that if I myself get sick, then we will be closed until I can make it back in.

Hello Folks!

I wanted to post an update and some clarification as to what's been happening in the U.S in regards to the issues with va**ng.

Firstly, all cases have involved people using CBD oil filled cartridges. These pre-filled pods and devices were also all purchases from individuals off of the street. Absolutely nothing was purchased from an actual store and no one is making claims that anything is ni****ne v**e related, although the media has done a good job at convincing people of such. The brother of one young man in the hospital actually admitted that "my brother bought the device off some dude off the street".

Secondly, there has not been any cases worldwide other then the ones that have happened in the U.S.

There are hundreds of news reports as of lately on this matter, and it is important to read the entire articles to have a better sense of what is actually transpiring. The headlines on many of these news reports leave a sense that va**ng as a whole is dangerous and they fail to mention that absolutely nothing that's happening is related to ni****ne va**ng at all. As you read further into the articles, you see that it is all towards CBD related oils and devices. Clealy, the CBD oil that is being v**ed has been tainted.

Its important for us all to do our own due diligence and do our own research rather then just reading a headline without reading the entire article or getting informed from a family member or friend on how bad va**ng is, and I know there are many v**ers out there that are being inundated with wrong information from friends and family members on a constant basis, especially in the last few weeks.

I was going to post some links to some articles here but there are literally hundreds online that can be easily found. And remember, Health Canada states on their website that 100 Canadians die each day from smoking. Here, we have 6 deaths from something that is not even related to what we do and that is ni****ne va**ng, not CBD oil va**ng .

Update on the outcome of Bill 174.....there MAY be amendments made to the current wording of the Bill to exclude v**e shops from having to cover up all products, remove all flavouring, etc.....wording of the bill and exclusions/amendments have yet to be discussed and implemented. Please stay tuned for more info.....we will pass information along as it comes in. Fingers crossed everyone.....there may be light at the end of the tunnel after all!! 🤔😮👍

VERY disappointing news coming from the provincial Liberal government.....Bill 174 has passed this morning as the Liberal government introduced it back on November 15th, 2017. They have made ZERO amendments to the Bill.

What does this mean for you as a v**er? You will no longer be able to view, touch, ask questions about product, or buy your favourite flavoured e- liquids. We will no longer be able to help new or current customers with setting up, troubleshooting, or answering any questions in and around your e- ci******es.

A date this will go into effect will be posted once we know anything..... stay tuned.

This is a huge blow for the entire industry..... hopefully we will find a way to work around this, and continue to serve those who choose to no longer smoke to***co products.

Below is an online petition to have your voice heard on Bill 174.....please sign. It is sent to 6 MPP's - 5 of which initiated this outrageous Bill. The 6th is your local MPP. Please say NO to the current introduction of Bill 174, and ask them to separate Schedule 3 - to remove Va**ng from the rest of the Bill and have it as a separate entity, and to address the ridiculous proposals they have in and around va**ng.
Time is of the essence, as they want the third and final reading passed by DECEMBER 7th, 2017!!

Gid'day again folks.. tommorow is the rally at Queen's Park. .. whose comin'? The bus will be leaving the store at noon.

Who wants to be able to keep testing flavours in the store? Who wants to see a friend or family member have the opportunity to try an electronic cigarette while they make their first purchase so we can be there to answer any questions they may have?

In store va**ng will cease January 1st. Come on out and help us keep va**ng alive..we all know it's the better alternative to real ci******es.

What have you done this week to make your voice heard on Va**ng?

Many v**ers across Ontario are already circulating the message about the Rally in Queen's Park this weekend.
Asking friends and family to come and show support for the devices that have made their lives easier in the struggle to quit smoking.
Many have begun to respond by writing letters to Premiere Wynn herself, Making "call to action" videos on their YouTube Channels, organizing trips to and from Queen's Park from various shops across Ontario via various Bus Chartering service and doing everything we can to make it easier for our voices heard on this VERY SERIOUS matter.

Imagine if when you came in to purchase your first kit/inquire about ecigs in general these laws where already in effect as they will be in January.
You wouldn't be able to sample any flavours.
We wouldn't be able to teach you to use any devices or give you any kind of information on them.
You'd have to guess at what strength of ni****ne best suited you.
You would have to essential say "I want items a and b", We would put them in a bag, and that unfortunately would be that.

Eventually if the Ontario government has their way, the final step will be having Flavoured E-liquid banned altogether (as they have recently done with Menthol Ci******es) in Ontario.

We simply can't let this happen, not without being heard at the very least.

The bus will also be returning riders to the store for 4PM at the latest to best accommodate fellow travelers busy Saturday schedules.

Another IMPORTANT update on the goings on next weekend at Queen's Park for the V**e Rally in opposition of Bill45!
A permit has been approved for the Rally to take place between 2PM and 3PM on Saturday, December 5th.
PLEASE NOTE the time change.

Organizers are asking that supporters show up between 1:15PM and 1:30PM on Saturday, therefore we have changed the pick up time of our scheduled charter to 12PM at the Newmarket store location.

Please give us a call at (905)-895-ECIG(3244) or pop into the store and fill out our signup sheet to reserve a seat on the bus this Saturday!

We will be returning to the store for around 4:15PM.

Gid'day Folks! In case you are unaware, come January 1st, 2016 you will no longer be able to v**e inside any public place including our store. Basically this means no more testing new flavors in-store and any potential new customers won't be able to take their "first puff" when they purchase a new kit. You will have to be 9 meters away from any doorway. This will prove to be quite challenging for brand new customers who have never v**ed before and for those current v**ers who would like to try any new flavours.

Eventually, va**ng products will have to be covered over such as regular ci******es are now. That will mean you won't be able to see anything before you purchase it. You will have to ask if we have "xyz" product in which case we will simply answer with a yes or no. No more explaining the product to you. . No more showing you how to use it. . No more troubleshooting if you have problems.

If you think this is crazy, and feel that your rights as an adult are being taken away from you by making your own choice on whether or not you want to choose a better alternative to smoking real ci******es, then please join us Saturday December 5th at Queen's Park for the provincial wide Va**ng Rally!

We will be chartering a bus that will be leaving the store at 12PM and tentitivally leaving the rally around 4:15pm. (Times Revised)

If you want to join us, please call the store or drop in and leave your name and contact information. We will call you later in the week to confirm that you are still interested in coming as there are only so many seats available. Seats will be filled on a "reserved"
basis so please call to have your seat held.
