After 26 wonderful years of serving this great Ingersoll community, today we pass the torch of our wine-on-premise business to new owners. We are excited to introduce you to Ashley Rooney and Craig Todt — local Ingersoll residents who are passionate about continuing the same great service you've come to know and love.

The store now operates under a new name, Batch Wine Merchants, with a fresh page where you can follow them for updates and the latest news. While the name may have changed, the commitment to providing top-quality wines and excellent customer care remains the same.

Introducing the final release from Global Passport Series 2025 – Grand Red!

This exceptional blend from California’s Lodi region brings together the best of three iconic varietals. The region is blessed with a Mediterranean-type climate, bringing warm, dry days, cool nights and continuous providing the ideal conditions for growing premium wine grapes.

Cabernet Sauvignon provides body and structure, Syrah adds spice and floral notes, while Merlot ties it all together with a silky, smooth texture. The result is a wine that offers a perfect harmony of blackberry, plum, and juicy red fruits, intertwined with soft vanilla and a hint of black pepper. Velvety tannins, balanced acidity and a rich lingering finish make this a true Grand Red.

Available for a limited time and by reservation only, Grand Red is now open for pre-order and will be released in March 2025.

Introducing the February release from Global Passport Series 2025 – Petit Verdot Shiraz!

This bold Australian blend combines the structure and freshness of Petit Verdot with the mid-palate weight and fruit-forward notes of Shiraz. Grown in the picturesque Riverland region, just east of the Barossa Valley, the area’s continental climate and rich soils ensure the grapes reach their optimal ripeness.

With this blend, you’ll experience aromas of blackberry and plum, accented with hints of pepper and spice. The palate reveals ripe dark fruits, complemented by supple tannins and a long, satisfying finish.

This intriguing blend marries the freshness of Pinot Grigio with the rich aromatics of Gewürztraminer. Grown in the heart of California’s Central Valley, Lodi’s Mediterranean climate with its warm sunny days, cool nights, and sandy loam soils provide the ideal conditions for these premium grapes.

The Gewürztraminer adds a subtle spicy note that brings complexity to this fruit forward blend while the Pinot Grigio keeps the wine fun and fresh. The wine is clean, and crisp, with bright acidity and a long, lingering finish.
