TACO PAPI is BACK!

Kris brings his insanely great tacos back to the neighborhood Thursday from 4pm - evening AND Friday for lunch and dinner. He'll be here 12-evening time. Last week he sold out; he's bringing more, but don't wait too long!

We've got four margaritas and on Thursdays are available in a flight, and as always get $2 off a cocktail with tacos.

We had such a great time hosting our inaugural Whisky Appreciation Series in our warehouse and we'll be doing it again this Friday November 15th @ 7pm. We'll be deep diving into one legendary whisky distillery per month, trying 6-8 expressions including long sold out or hard to find bottles.

This month we'll be showcasing The Middleton Distillery from Ireland. Two bottles are a surprise! Tickets are on sale now via eventbrite (link in bio)

Tomorrow Taco Papi Taq-eh-ria returns to the distillery for TACOWEEN!
We'll have a Margarita pairing flight on special to go along with the four delicious tacos Kris will be serving up from lunch til late. We also have a non-alc marg with Undone Mezcal if booze isn't your thing.

Returning this weekend and now Porty-er than ever is our fan favourite Porty Spice Batch 2!

This 100% rye mash whisky was aged for 3+ years in American oak barrels before spending the last 6 months in a first fill Tawny Port cask. Expect harmonious sweet & fruity notes pairing to our spicy & herbal rye style.

Available in 750mL and now 375mL sizes, come try it at the distillery or the today. Rolling out to Northern BC markets and craft focused liquor stores in BC in the next two weeks.

Phat Caesar Saturdays continue tomorrow starting at 12 noon!

Phat Bastard Eats is back on the lot, and you get $2 off any cocktail (including non-alc.) with your burger. Mitch will be mixing up our Mexican influenced take on a Canadian classic. Our lounge is open until 6pm or whenever you all want to go home, whichever comes latest!

The Caesars and Burgers have landed!

In celebration of the some of the best burgers we’ve ever tried been served right outside our door, we are launching Phat Caesar Saturday.

2 oz. Cheeseburger infused vodka
Mitch’s Mexican oil sauce (soy sauce, Worcestershire, Maggi sauce)
Clamato
Horseradish
Garnished with all types of pickled things

On special for $10 plus tax.

Make it a combo with a burger from and get $2 off any cocktail.

For those who would like a more traditional Caesar we can use our straight vodka as well, but to be Brutusily honest, if you like burgers this is a must try!

Last weekend we hosted the wedding celebration of our dear friends Danica and Wilson, and we just love the look of the lounge all dressed up.

*** Big food truck news ****

Our friends will be back in the neighbourhood beginning this weekend! You can find them in front of the distillery on Saturdays from 12-5:30.

If you haven't had their burgers yet, they're like a burger, but better. For those that have had them, we will see you Saturday!

On Saturday, September 28th, we're hosting a private event and will have limited hours on the distillery side from 12-4. Watch for our burger pairing drink menu in October. If amazing burgers and booze wasn't enough already, our neighbors right across the way are brewing some tasty brews.

If you've read this far, we've included a small easter egg in our photo as a preview to our new whisky club coming soon. We love us some burgers and 'taters ;)

Let's face it, agave spirits are awesome. We love a well crafted tequila or mezcal, but with no agave growing in BC, it's one of the spirits we stock for cocktails.

One of our favourite cocktails to make is the Paloma. Made with housemade grapefruit soda, tequila and lime, it's a simple cocktail but has been a fan favourite at the lounge over the summer.

Available full size or in a cocktail flight Thursday / Friday 12-7 and Saturday 12-6.

New Cocktails and Expanded Lounge Hours

With fishing (some call it summer) season almost over, we're switching gears to get ready for fall. Updated hours, new cocktails and events start this month!

September lounge hours:

Thursday / Friday: 12-7
Saturday 12-6

When we aren't staffed in the lounge, we're open in the distillery itself Tuesday/Wednesday 10-3 and Thursday/Friday 10-12.

We had a great time and some great weather pouring brambles last weekend at , a non-profit gourmet harvest festival that operates programs that connect, empower, and inspire people to strengthen BC’s sustainable food systems.

If you have not attended, there are still two festivals coming up in West Kelowna and Richmond. Although we won’t be there, there’s an amazing group of other producers to check out.

Blackberry season is in full swing!

To make our wild blackberry gin and vodka, we rely on our local pickers to harvest enough berries in August to last the whole year. We’ve almost received enough, but we have a new product in mind and need a bit more.

We are buying blackberries Tuesday to Friday. If you would like to pick, or know someone who might, please contact the distillery to make sure we are not full up.

Summer Lounge Update

We run a small crew at the distillery, so we will be moving all tastings and sales to the distillery production area (old tasting room) while some of us are taking summer holidays.

With limited staff we have limited cocktail making abilities, so we crafted our most popular cocktails on flight to keep the good times rolling!

The Lounge will re-open August 17th for full cocktail service.

Last night we poured cocktails and highballs while Keith Urban lit up the stage! An amazing performance at the best venue. The Whisky Corral was rocking!

New cocktail alert!!
We’ve been busy prepping for Sunfest next weekend, and have cooked up a cocktail we just have to share at our lounge. Cowboi Lemonade is a simple combination of our house rye whisky and house lemonade, and we’ve spent some extra time dialing it in before unleashing it at next weekend.
Also available in non-alc version.

Here's a tour of the distillery in just under 30 seconds! Notice the tasting room and merchandise corner, the barrels slowly aging and making their stellar elixir, and of course the distillery floor itself where all the magic happens in those glorious copper stills! June is gin season and to celebrate we are offering our Rhubarb Gin at a reduced price at your favourite private liquor store! This limited time offer will be for the entire month of June, so stock up for all of your upcoming summer adventures! SHHHHH.... we're grinding (rye grain) here!!!

Wait.... what is that thing? And there's three of them?!? Please welcome three new fermenting tanks to the family! Currently the distillery uses five 1000 liter tanks, soon they will be replaced with these three 5000 liter tanks! It means we can ramp up whisky production immediately once these are plumbed and even more so in the future as needed. Look for more photos and videos of this monumental step for us next week!
