A spooky fact about wine and vampires is that in folklore, vampires are often associated with blood, but some legends suggest they could also be drawn to wine. In medieval Europe, red wine was sometimes seen as a substitute for blood, and it was believed that a vampire could be repelled by a strong wine, especially if it was blessed or had a high alcohol content, creating a ritualistic barrier against the undead.

We are a collection site for used corks!!

We love giving a second life to your used natural wine corks. Unfortunately there are limits to what we can recycle! We can only recycle natural cork that's free of contaminants. That means no plastic, no wax, no metal, and no synthetic corks!

We also can't recycle DIAM corks as the granulate in the corks is too fine to work in our recycling process.

Please check your corks before dropping them off at one of our amazing Public Collection Partners: recork.com/locations
