And while today’s industry news isn’t the kind of present we were hoping for, we still have much to celebrate, reflect on and look forward to.

This Saturday you’ll find us at one of our happy places (by the water of course) at Kingston’s Buskers Rendezvous - Confederation Basin, Kingston. Amongst all the fantastic entertainment, you’ll be able to sample all 3 of our Dry Hard Ciders and purchase your favourite (or a mix pk of all of them) for take-home.

Join us in the Village of Hastings on July 1st to celebrate Canada Day! Our party in the park returns at 1pm with free live music, entertainment and food vendors in the green space at 15 Front St. W (behind the post office). The parade will begin on Front St at 4pm and our spectacular fireworks display over the Trent River will begin at dusk (approx. 9:30pm).

RICE LAKE HARD CIDER IS HIRING! Packaging & Delivery Associate in Baltimore, ON. $18/hr + 6 month retention bonus. Part time, ongoing (not just summer). Fun team atmosphere, variable hours, primarily Mon-Fri.

Early July start date.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 19-30 at time of hiring (YESP funding program requirements)
- Must have full Driver’s License + Smart Serve
- Own transportation as we are not on a transit route
- Standing, lifting 25lbs, attention to fine details - labeling, etc.
- Positive energy & attitude

Currently in recovery mode after this weekend (and not for long) but WOW! Yesterday we spent the day in Toronto . The weather was great, vibes were high and the cider was flowing - mixed with an energetic crowd of people, it made for really awesome day.

Jana and I are pretty skilled at moving through a busy line up but yesterday was something totally new for us and while the wait times were short, it was a consistent line up for most of the day🤯 Thankyou to everyone who waited in our line - everyone was so friendly and understanding & we truly appreciate your support so much!!

We love introducing our to a new crowd and after meeting so many new Toronto folks, it gives us even more motivation to add to our growing list of LCBO locations in your city where you can find .

Also wanted to give a big thanks to RonniLyn for welcoming us to this festival as a first time vendor. All day people were commenting on how much they love coming to Gluten Free Garage and look forward to it every year and we can see why! We can’t wait to come back next year🧡

We have heard such great things about this festival and can’t wait to experience it first hand! With over 190 vendors and a sunny forecast, this is sure to be an awesome day. Those following us for the past couple months will know what these are all about but this is the last city of our 10 city tour. We’ve absolutely loved being a part of this tour and seeing so many of our friends week after week, it’s hard to believe this is the last one! We’ll be pouring all 3 of our ciders and our cider cocktails as well! Choose from an orange or mango Cider-mimosa or our signature Sunset Cocktail using our Cranberry Dry Cider with a splash of pineapple juice. If you’re interested in attending, make sure to get your tickets now as these events tend to sell out!

This is another brand new event for us this year and cannot wait to introduce a new crowd of people to our ciders! Our ciders are both naturally gluten-free and vegan so we love being in this kind of environment surrounded by people looking for delicious gf drink options. We’ll be sampling all 3 of our dry hard ciders in addition to our cider cocktails, and of course selling 6pks for take home. Tickets are still available but almost sold out!

We’ll be sampling and selling our 3 dry hard ciders and mixing up some delicious cider cocktails if you’re looking for something a bit sweeter.

An 🍎 a day, keeps the doctor away. That applies to cider too, right? GFG first-timer Rice Lake Hard Cider is a woman-led cidery in Northumberland County that produces dry hard ciders that are gluten free, vegan and low in sugar. You can find Rice Lake at the LCBO, select grocery stores (like Sobey’s) and markets and events. Rice Lake will be sampling and pouring all of their ciders, along with cider cocktails for those who prefer something a little sweeter (“Cider Mimosa” with either traditional orange juice or tropical mango AND “Rice Lake Sunset Cocktail,” a blend of Cranberry Dry Cider and pineapple juice). Bottoms up!

In light of Earth Day, we’re resharing this post to highlight our 4pk & 6pk carriers💚

DID YOU KNOW - These colourful carriers we use are made of 100% up-cycled milk jugs, meaning there’s no new plastic!

Due to their durability, they can also be reused a handful of times and hold any standard can and with stores phasing out bags, they’re a great solution and make travelling with single cans a breeze!

We’ve found you can get at least 5-6 uses out of them and afterwards can be added to your recycling bin to continue the cycle♻️
