Sheringham gin is a Canadian made, Canadian owned treasure, hailing from southern BC.   We proudly carry their products, including four of their sensational gin liqueurs.  

They are open and clear about their all natural ingredients, with a heavy focus on sustainability.  They prioritize locally grown and harvested botanicals, with no artificial flavours.  

And all those awesome points aside, these are all absolutely delicious.  Amazing sipped neat or worked into cocktails, this whole lineup is awesome!

Picpoul is a white grape varietal grown in the South of France on the slopes that rise from a lagoon off the Mediterranean Sea. This grape is known for its racy acidity and slightly oily texture along with some lovely salinity that ties it all together. The ideal food to pair? The oysters that inhabit the rocky shoreline of the very same lagoon (or your favorite shellfish).

Saint Patrick's Day is here, and how will you be celebrating?  We have the classic Irish choice in Guinness, even in an alcohol free option.  But have you considered Kilkenny?  It is an Irish stout as well, but it is smoother, lighter, and creamier than the heavy Guinness experience.

Looking to celebrate St. Patrick's day, but aren't feeling like green beer or whiskey?  Not to worry, there are other cool things to enjoy from Ireland!  Such as either of these exeplary gin expressions, or the under-appreciated Shanky's Whip!

Shanky's whip is a blend of Black Irish Whiskey, Irish Spirits, and delicious vanilla and cream.  Delicious sipped on it's own, or blended into cocktails!  Try it with coca-cola!

Drumshanbo's flagship gin is one to love too!

Slow distilled by hand in medieval copper pot stills at The Shed Distillery, this flagship creation of the curious mind, combines the 8 pot still and 4 vapour infused botanicals collected on PJ’s journey from China back to Drumshanbo with the fresh citrus, and the ever intriguing Chinese gunpowder tea.  To be enjoyed simply with a generous wedge of fresh red grapefruit and premium tonic water or in a deliciously refreshing cocktail. And last but certainly not least, from the esteemed Hinch distillery, comes Ninth Wave Gin:

"A proportion of the botanical blend is macerated overnight within each batch's base spirit. On the following day secondary distillation begins with gradual heating of the liquid within the Gin Pot Still to the required temperature.
Each batch is distilled slowly over an 8-hour period with the additional inclusion of some of the botanicals into the infusion vapour basket. The final gin is distilled to a strength of between 74 - 75% abv and finally reduced to 43% abv prior to bottling.

Tasting Notes:
Pithy citrus, spice nose with nettles, pine needles, and fresh mint. On the palate honey and key lime pie, are smooth and extremely well-balanced." -

Looking for something uniquely Canadian in the world of whiskey?  Sazerac brings you the world's first Single Barrel Canadian Whiskey, Caribou Crossing!

Bottled at the Buffalo Trace distillery, this whiskey has been patiently aged in oak.  It is light and delicate, with aromas of vanilla, marshmallow, caramel, and corn.

Fresh out of Mexico!  Two cool new products on our shelves this week are Bozal Ensamble Mezcal and Narano Bitter Orange Liqueur!

This untamed Bozal mezcal is a masterfully blended combination of 3 types of mezcal, hence the name "Ensamble".  Featuring Espadin, Mexicano, and Barril varietals of agave, this spirit boasts aromas of green apple, pear, vanilla, and allspice.  On the palate it shows strong flavours of lime zest, stone fruit, and green pepper, with a refreshing mineral note on the finish.  Truly a beautiful blend!

Narano's Bitter Orange Liqueur hails from Yucatan, bringing a unique herbaceous, bittersweet experience.  Combining Seville oranges and classic Naranja oranges to really exhibit the best of both, this liqueur can be used with lime juice on ice for a cool variation of a margarita, or stirred into cocktails for a unique twist!
