TRAFFIC: Emergency crews are on scene of a head on collision between a delivery truck and a car on County Rd 507 in the area of County Rd 36. Reports are the driver of the passenger vehicle is trapped, Ornge is enroute and expected to land near the collision.

OPP are not on scene yet so road closures have not been determined, I will update the post once more information becomes available.

UPDATE: As of 1p.m. the driver of the vehicle has just been extracted from the vehicle, Ornge has landed on scene and the driver of the delivery vehicle is being treated by paramedics.

County Rd 507 is currently closed between CR36 and Mississauga Dam Rd. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes. Expect these road closures to be in place for several hours.

As of 1:30p.m. Ornge paramedics have loaded the driver into the helicopter and are enroute to Sunnybrooke Trauma Centre.
