You can get your tickets at the store. Also to the winner we will fill up the generator and gas can. No charge!

We are doing a fundraiser in support of one of our firefighters, Alex Pickering, who is currently battling Hodgekens B-Cell Lymphoma.

Tickets are $5/ticket, and are available for purchase from any member of the Borden-Carleton Fire Department. The prize is one (1) 4550 Watt Generator, accompanied with a gas can, and extension cord.

Tickets are also available at Howatts Tourist Mart and Ceretti’s Grocery.

Thanks to Howatts Tourist Mart, the winner will be able to take the generator and gas can and fill them completely free of charge!

All money fundraised will go directly to Alex to help him during this battle. We thank you for your support in advance.

**Update on the break in**

2 of the 3 individuals turned themselves into the RCMP. We have photos of the last female but have found out she may be a minor so decided not to post her photo because she is known to police already. Hopefully she can get the help she needs and can change her life for the better but still be held accountable

Sorry for being closed this morning we had to let the RCMP conduct their investigation. As many of you may have heard, last night after 3 individuals were unsuccessful with breaking in our door, they decided to throw a large piece of steel through our window and rob us. After causing thousands dollars of damage they got some to***co products and a bit of coin. Luckily with 4K cameras and the security system we knew the individuals from eastern PEI before 8am. The RCMP have been great to work on it and are now searching for them. We will post pictures of the individuals tomorrow if they do not turn themselves in tonight.
