Meet Henri Cases, the owner and winemaker @ Domaine Saint Martin in Carcassonne. We first met in 2015, and ever since we are fans of his unique wines and blends, which hold grapes such as Marselan and Caladoc. The Domaine was founded in 1919 and to honor that, this absolutely fabulous Cuvée 1919 was crafted. As Henri puts it: un siècle de vin et de savoir-faire. Merci Henri! 🍷🍷🍷

We usually meet Stéphane Puyol, owner and winemaker of Château Lamothe Belair in February, when we have the pleasure to taste his new vintage Lamothe Belair rosé. 2023 remains a 50% Merlot / 50% Cabernet Franc blend. More aromatic than last year's vintage, with a nose of white fruit (pear..). We love it! 🩷

Let's talk about Extra Virgin Olive 0il, or EVOO😀 Did you know that the colour of the EVOO (green, yellow...) has no relevance whatsoever for the taste and health components in the oil? That's why these blue glasses are used by the professional tasting panels. There's no point in checking the colour ⭐️ Our EVOO's are produced by Francisco Gomez: Cornicabra, Chiquitita, Grosal and Picual varietals. All of them harvested early which results in better AND healthier olive oil. 🫒🫒🫒
