When we launched this event, we prayed to the weather gods for some good luck and plenty of 🌞, but as can happen in Belgium, the weather predictions are looking pretty sh*t in the meantime. So unfortunately, we decided to cancel our -open air- Craft Club Apero & Natural Winetastings on 13/07 in Leuven. We waited as long as we could, but at one point you've got to bite the bullet 😔🌧️

Thanks so much for all the support so far already, all purchased tasting tickets will be refunded of course. And as a little pick me up: we're extending our -20% discount on all private tastings booked via the website till 31/07! 🍷🍷

🌧️ The rain tried to crash our party, but nothing could dampen the vibes at our afterwork event with Hävn!

We swapped umbrellas for glasses of Belgian and Czech natural wines, creating a perfect cozy lounge atmosphere. The weather might have been dreary, but the spirits were high, and the wine was flowing. 🍇

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us and to Hävn for the excellent collaboration. Here’s to more events filled with great natural wine and good company! Cheers! 🥂

Less than a year ago, we met this delightful couple at Droesem, a wine fair in Antwerp. 🍷 Last weekend, Peter and Veroniek from Klein Rijselhoek, a vineyard in Loker, visited Leuven for the third edition of our "Meet the Winemaker" series. It was another packed house for our tasting event at Bar Stan. 🥂

Peter took us on an exciting journey through the fascinating story of Klein Rijselhoek. It all began with a single vine smuggled from Sicily in a trash bag full of soil. From discovering WWII bombs on their land to producing hundreds of delicious bottles each year from PIWI grapes, and even featuring his daughters on the bottle labels—this winemaker has a story worth sharing! 🍇

| MEET THE BREWERY 🇧🇪| Can you smell spring in the air already? We sure can, especially with the 𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲! 🐦 Based in Brussels, is an 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹 & 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘆 active since October 2019. Their production is diverse, featuring IPAs, sour & wild beers, seasonals, barrel-aged, or classic styles revisited.

As the season changes, so does the opportunity to enjoy these unique brews. Don’t wait too long to place your orders, as these are our last bottles... 🍻

• 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲: Try this sour ale aged in white wine barrels and infused with sweet, Belgian strawberries. (4 bottles left)

• 𝗠𝗮𝘂𝘃𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗲: A barrel-aged beer, brewed 1 year ago with freshly harvested dandelions. An impressively fresh combination of sour – bitter – herbal flavors. (1 bottle left)

• 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲: Beer-wine hybrid, aged for more than two years in red wine barrels. A sour, funky character with a distinct wine-like influence from the distillate of the Riesling grape. (2 bottles left)
