An early highlight was Mr Obi Wan himself, Ewan McGregor, stopping by to open our first cask of whisky in 1998 - the first legal dram on Arran for over 160 years! We then released our first ever bottling - a 3 year old Arran Single Malt.
We're honoured to share that our Sherry Cask 'The Bodega' has been awarded a double gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Introducing Glenfarclas 107!
To mark the 25th anniversary of the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival we have created this unique and very limited release of our iconic Glenfarclas 105, specially selected by our Chairman John Grant to mark the occasion. This limited edition cask strength whisky came out at 61.3% abv (the equivalent of 107° British proof) and so it will be known as Glenfarclas 107.
There are only 306 bottles available, aptly priced at £107. Due to the exclusive nature of this release, it will be limited to one bottle per person and a limited number will be available each day. Please note this bottle can only be purchased in person directly from our distillery Visitor Centre. It will be on sale from Thursday the 2nd of May at 10am.

We have very busy jobs and love to find true peace and tranquillity after a hard day's graft in the warehouse. The fresh, clean Arran air plays a huge part in our enjoyment of island life, whether it’s heading out for a long hike with Jamie and the dogs, or easing into a family-filled weekend with Gregor. We like to play a round of golf after clocking off from our Friday shift to wind down from a busy week and soaking in the sun (when it happens)!" ⛳

Heat a saucepan over a medium heat. Add one cup of water and one cup of sugar, and combine until the sugar is completely dissolved.
When the mixture is warmed through, take off the heat and add 1/4 cup of Arran Barrel Reserve Single Malt.
Leave to cool. Pour into a jug and you are ready to top your pancakes! 😋
