“The next installment in our Kveik Culture Collab series is a West Coast IPA brewed in collaboration with our friends at . This beer features locally grown malt from Jæren Malt and is fermented with a unique Norwegian Kveik yeast strain, Stalljen, from Kveik Yeastery. For an authentic West Coast hop profile, we used the holy trinity of hops: Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic, imparting notes of citrus, orange rind, pine, and tropical fruit, all balanced with a firm bitterness.”

🍻 Three new beers in from the exquisite

🍾 Spectre Sister blend no. 5
“Spectre Sister is a blend of two extra pale beers produced in July and August 2020. The worts were made with maize, wheat, oats and rice. They fermented in a mixture of old bourbon barrels and freshly emptied cider barrels (from Oliver’s Cider and Perry, and Ross-on-Wye Cider and Perry Company). Conditioning in bottle took place through winter and spring producing an effervescent, bright and delicate saison.”

🍾 Saison Cider Cask blend no. 4
“Our fourth edition of Saison Cider Cask is a blend of four barrels produced in November 2020 and June 2022. The contrasting brews used a variety of grains and a mixture of aged and fresh European hops. Fermentation took place in fresh cider barrels from Oliver’s Cider and Perry, as well as Ross-on-Wye Cider and Perry Company. The finished blend was dry-hopped with whole-leaf Kazbek and Brewers Gold before conditioning in bottle.”

🍾 Today XO blend no. 3
“Today XO is a a blend of solely three year and older barrels. This is its third iteration. This beer is made from three brews, fermented in three different barrels. The worts were made in January, February and April 2020 using traditional turbid mash methods. They were subsequently left in our coolship overnight to be inoculated with wild yeast and bacteria, before being fermented in oak. The resulting beer underwent extended bottle maturation before release.”

The Oude Geuze Megablend symbolizes the collaboration between the lambic breweries and Geuze blenders from the Zenne Valley and the Pajottenland. For this bottling, 13 different lambic producers blended 1-, 2- and 3-year old lambic together. This Megablend was made especially for the 14th edition of the Tour de Geuze.

“Our Congruity series harnesses the art of blending and collaboration to create a beer that transcends its individual elements. In May 2022, we invited our esteemed friends from and to join us in Copenhagen along with base beer from what they considered to be their finest barrels, and we contributed a special blend of our one- and two-year-old Danish Wild Ale. A methodical blending and tasting session followed, where we eventually found a blend that cohesively showcases the best of each of our beers.”

“This portion of the blend was aged in Moscatel de Setúbal barrels from Portugal for 16 months before bottling, infusing the beer with notes of honey, caramel and citrus.”

🐲🌶️ Little Black Dragon - Barrel Aged Imperial Mexicake Stout 🐲🌶️

“Little Black Dragon, named after our black cat, which I sometimes call “kleine zwarte draak” when he does naughty things.

This beer is an Imperial Mexicake stout, aged for more than 2 years on 6 barrels.

One of them a Hot Sauce barrel from Texas, besides that Maple Bourbon, Irish Whiskey and regular Bourbon.

Just before bottling we dry spiced this beer with some vanilla, cacao beans and chilies to give you the last kick in this bold beer.

The heat is well balanced, we tried to make it drinkable for the most of you. Expect a warm feeling in your mouth and throat when you take a sip.”
