Penfolds 2021 Bin 28 arrives Yeronga cellars

Bin 28 was initially named after the famous Barossa Valley Kalimna vineyard purchased by Penfolds in 1945, from which the wine was originally sourced.

With a lower ABV than a lot of other Hazys, this 5.2% Hazy Pale Ale is a sessionable, springtime smasher!

Bouquet of tropical stone fruit, kiwi fruit and citrus wafts through the air, making way for that perfectly balanced, soft mouthfeel and quenching, tropical flavour.

Not too sweet and not too bitter, our mouths are watering just typing this!

Introducing the Forester Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Region: WA
Grape Variety: 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot
Maturation: 16 months – 54% new, 46% two and three-year-old French oak barriques
Alcohol: 13.4% Alc/Vol

Fragrant and concentrated, the wine has classic Margaret River Cabernet characters of cassis, lavender, damp earth and bay leaf with cedar oak and gravel dust. Palate Medium bodied with a plump texture and soft polished tannins. There are flavours of cassis, damp earth and cocoa with cedar oak. A fragrant wine with subtle complexities. Drinking well now but will develop further in the bottle through until 2030. The wine will benefit from decanting before drinking.
