Steffi Yayoi Snook believes "A good wine captures a place, an art, a science, a memory, and a moment."

And Steffi's wines are definitely good. With experience from her time at Bannockburn Vineyard and Lethbridge Wines, she channels her passion to create some exceptional and delicate wines that transport you back to the Loire Valley.

Her flagship Valley of the King's Chenin Blanc displays pear, chamomile, lemon curd and baked apple. A delight to sip under our summer sun.

A Semillon, Vermentino, and Pet Nat complete our line up, available in store now.

As the Grampians National Park reopens today after the devastating fires, we want to show our support for the recovery efforts.

Starting today and running until the end of January, we’re featuring wines exclusively from Grampians producers. Every glass or bottle purchased will help support these wineries, and we hope it inspires you to visit the region and lend your support in person.

We’re huge fans of Grampians wines and are excited to share our favorites with you:

And just like that, 2024 is just about over.

Being a small, family run business has meant hard work, barely any time off, exhaustion, steely determination, exploration, learning, and trying to squeeze as much fun time as we can possibly fit into Sundays and Mondays. So here's a few pics of the fun we had this year, rounded off with the fur babies, because everyone loves the pet pics 😂

Our pre-Covid pipe dream is now about to make it into its 3rd year come Feb 2025, and we couldn't have done any of this without your support. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. As we continue to evolve, we look forward to new challenges, new faces, new products, and a continuation of all the good stuff that makes Grape & Barley who we are.

We'll be closing at 6pm tonight, and reopening at 11am tomorrow, so that we can have a little more time with our loved ones before starting the New Year full steam ahead.

The wonderful Marie will be in store on Friday afternoon to crack open some bottles of intriguing varietals. Last time she visited, we sold out of the whites before tastings finished, so start your weekend right and get in quick!

Pizzini are legendary producers of Italian varieties grown in the King Valley, and Fighting Gully Road are listed as a 5-star winery in the 2025 Halliday Wine Companion. We can't articulate enough just how good these wines are!
