We recently opened a couple of Italian reds $30 and under for our Friday Tastings, one of which was the Di Majo Norante Moli Rosso, which was the clear favourite on the night among staff and customers.

Molise is a very small wine region on the south-east coastline between Abruzzo and Campania. Moli Rosso is made up of organically farmed Montepulciano which brings lots of black plum and fruity freshness and Aglianico which adds a more earthy, black olive flavour, making it a beautifully balanced and charming wine.

Gran Sasso Montepulciano D’Abruzzo had a short hiatus but is back in stock on the floor. The makers have gone easy on the oak, which is not always typical for the region resulting in a balanced fruit-forward wine with restraint. Supple, generous and easy-drinking! 🍷

We've got a small amount of G.D. Vajra Barolo's in-store and online, but they won't last long. The insatiable appetite for the 3 B's (Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Barolo) shows no signs of letting up. While the prices of Burgundy and Bordeaux continue their stratospheric rise, exceptional producers in Barolo like Vajra continue to offer great value, at least for now. Do your future self a favour and invest while you can!

We've just received the new vintage 2023 Garagiste Le Stagiaire Pinot Noir. Made by Barnaby Flanders with fruit from four carefully selected sites in the Mornington Peninsula, Merricks North, Balnarring, Red Hill and Merrics Grove. Just in! Back vintage 2014 William Fevre Petit Chablis $55 each or $50 with any 6 wines.
10 years of Bottle age has brought out creamy texture and hints of honey to complement the citrus and green apple. It has lost none of its freshness with lingering minerality on the finish typical of the terroir.
