Whip up a delicious and comforting pasta dish in no time! With just a few ingredients, this recipe is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. 🍝

Ingredients:
250g your choice of pasta
1 jar (about 400g) tomato sauce
1 cup grated cheese (parmesan or mozzarella)
3 garlic, cloves minced
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp mixed Italian herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Optional: Fresh basil

Instructions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of the pasta water.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sautΓ© for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

Pour in the jar of tomato sauce, stirring well. Add the mixed Italian herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Stir in the grated cheese until melted and well combined. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Plate the pasta and garnish with fresh basil and extra cheese if desired. Enjoy!
