If a stone hits right near the edge of your windscreen, it has a very high chance of spreading like this one.
Once it starts, it can happen very quickly (like in a few hours) so getting it repaired immediately is highly recommended.
Luckily for the owner of this car, we managed to save this windscreen without to much fuss. However if it was left any longer it would have needed to be replaced.
Please check the edges of your screen, and let me know if it needs some attention.

What could you do with $2,350 ?
Well that's how much I saved a customer today!
She was told by one of the "reputable" big companies that this windscreen couldn't be repaired, it needed to be replaced, $2,500 thanks for coming.
Luckily she got a second opinion from me, and it's well within the scope of a legal, safe repair.
So for only 150 bucks including a second repair aswell, we had her going again, saving a small fortune in the process!
So please, before you get convinced by the big boys that you need to spend all your hard-earned on a new screen, give me a call and I may just be able to save your windscreen, and a bunch of money.

We have started a new business importing and selling these little beauty's from Japan, among other cars aswell.
It's a ball of fun to drive around, it's a proper 4x4 too, with low range and factory diff lock!

This seemingly insignificant crack went un-noticed by the owner of this Landcruiser. Luckily I saw it while doing another repair and was able to sort it out for him.
Being close to the edge of the windscreen like this can make them spread very easily, sometimes sending a crack right across the screen.
