You may have noticed the change in the page. Yes I have moved to the Pendle Hill hotel bottle shop or the PI as it’s affectionately known. Of course I have plans for this to be the new hub for craft beer in the hills but it is still early days.

Day 1 to be precise.

Things will pick up but slowly at first so please be patient. Any support is welcome, I was sad to leave people who were not just customers but friends, so hopefully we can get the community back together at the PI.

The shelves are starting to fill out nicely. It feels good to see things starting to get back to normality and even better after a few of these tasty brews. New beers this week from Hop Nation and Big Shed Brewing. A big 5th Happy Birthday to J-Juice and it's only 30 days till Christmas!! Just had to remind everyone, never to early to stock the fridge for the festivities.

Something special this way comes. I've been looking forward to getting my hands on these babies for a while. Hopocrisy Beer is the brainchild of Mik Halse who I've known for years and was lucky enough to work with for a few selling beers. Mik has spent years slinging beers behind the bar and getting them into the hands of Melburnians for years and has now taken the plunge producing his own. This is the second beer he has released, the first being a pilsner (classic Mik). There's no haze or juice box notes here just a straight up, classic West Coast IPA with a little dank finish. Exclusive to our shelves you better grab some before it ends up in my fridge.

More beers are arriving daily but due to a technical glitch the beer list hasn't been updated on the website just yet. We have had some deliveries from New England Brewing Company - Australia and Capital Brewing Co. this week. Next week is a cracker with deliveries on the way from Venom Beer, Ocho Beer, T-Bone Brewing Co. and another something which you'll have to wait see. I'm excited.

Once in a while there is a beer that comes along that I I've been waiting with bated breath for the truck to turn up. This for me is one of them. Hargreaves Hill Brewing Company produce in my humble opinion one of, if not the best ESB in the country and its been given some special treatment. This is extremely limited so if you want one you better be quick.
