SPICED CANE SPIRIT.
For the classicists who want something simple to drink this Christmas - here’s Ester’s quick and dirty take on the Old Fashioned.
Muddle a sugar cube with two dashes of bitters and a splash water in a glass until dissolved. Add 60ml Ester Spiced Cane deliciousness, ice and stir. Top with orange peel and get sipping.

Meet the Aperitivo Strawbpeedo…try saying that 3 times fast. Or save yourself the embarrassment and just come try it this weekend. A strawberry infused Ester Aperitivo, it has a light fruity sweetness, rounded out by a moreish bitterness. It’s refreshing, damn delicious and look, the colour is pretty. What more could you want?

We’re crushing REAL hard on our limited edition Ester summer fling. It’s a hot mishmash and full flavour clash of all the best things about summer, in a ready to drink bottled cocktail.
A delightful fusion of our perfumed botanical Old Tom Gin and our ultra orange Trashy Triple Sec with layers of lychees, tangy passionfruit and the marshmallow flavours of Madagascan vanilla. All rounded out with the creamy kiss of pavlova...oh baby.

Visit us at the distillery this weekend to enjoy one of our weekly cocktails and try a very special new addition to the Ester family - our award-winning Spiced Cane. Have a drink in the sun from 3-10pm tomorrow, or if you can’t make it to see us, have a crack at making it yourself at home.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
60ml Ester Spiced Cane Spirit
8 mint leaves
30ml lime juice
20ml Demerara or raw sugar syrup**
2 dashes orange bitters
HOW TO MAKE IT:
Clap mint in the palm of your hands to release oils then place into glass. Add all other ingredients to your favourite tall glass.
Add crushed ice to glass and mix together. Remember to draw everything up through the ice as you stir.
Enjoy!
**mix equal parts Demerara sugar and water together. if you cant find it. use raw sugar
HUMBLE X ESTER.
We’ve collaborated with our friends at Humble Bakery to bring you an extra boozy, extra delicious Christmas cake soaked in our Spiced Cane Spirit right in time for the festive season. Now available to Pre-Order via our website.
How to eat it? Go old school: drown it in custard & wash it down with a spiced rum spider like Ben. We’ve included the recipe here in case you are so inclined to recreate.

120ml Capi Cola
1 scoop ice cream
Lime twizzle
Add a large scoop of ice to a soda or hurricane glass, top with Spiced Cane and ice cream, then pour over your favourite cola and take delight in the foamy goodness that emerges.
