A Christmas Miracle! 📣 Finally some good news about our shop front!

6 months after the flood back in June we finally have our keys back! After a lot of blood, sweat and tears, the drying and repairs are finally coming to an end! Stay tuned for an exact date on our reopening!

🤞Fingers crossed we’ll be open in some capacity before Christmas. Hopefully 2025, our 15th year in business will be a little less dramatic and exciting for all the right reasons! See you back in Summer Hill soon!

What a wonderful weekend at the The Makers and Shakers Sydney Christmas Gift Market!

Thank You to Emma, Lee, Little M and the team for shining a spotlight on Australian Makers and creating such an enjoyable Market.

Thank you to John and RJ for all of your help, ideas, support, company and good times! A special mention to my Family who came and surprised me and also to my fellow stall mates, so good to see you all!

Of course, Thank you to everyone who came to the market and stopped to chat about my work, have a laugh or take home some goodies. I now have a list of new things to draw, it looks like it will be a busy year 😅

With our shopfront closed for repair after the flooding it felt so good to reconnect with people and hear your stories and attachments to the sites I have illustrated.

It’s our last day of trade for 2024, we’re here till 5pm (Mon 23rd Dec). We wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has popped in since we’ve reopened and to everyone who has snapped up some Sweets Workshop goodies to put under the Christmas Tree. 🎉WE ARE OPEN🎉 we can’t believe it! Pinch us! We’re open today 10.30 - 5pm for you to come and get your local art, souvenirs and pop culture fix!

Shop shuffle! Before we got the floor boards nice and polished we decided to have a bit of a rejig of the layout of the shop! A fresh layout for a fresh start!

Pop-Art Portrait Workshop Join us at Balmain Library to craft amazing pictures from portraits of the past.   Drawing inspiration from Punk, Pop-Art, Picasso and your creative imagination, we’ll put some colour back into these old portraits with paint and collage.  Suitable for ages 8-12.
