Belching Beaver - Peanut Butter Milk Stout - every Christmas we get it in, and everyone goes nuts (pun intended!) for it....

Tony's smile tells you that you're in for a treat on Friday. The wonderful Emily, from Cox Wine Merchants is back to showcase the Allegiance Wines range. The Allegiance range has as its focus sourcing the best wines from some of Australia's best regions, as well as a fabulous Provence Rose (France), and, to make it even better, Emily is a fabulous ambassador that is so proud of the wines that her family produces. Looking forward to seeing you this Friday!

"Got any German lagers mate?" is an often-heard query as our wonderful customers gaze lovingly at our 4 doors of craft fridges...Well the answer for the next week or two is "sure do! And also some Dunkels and Weissbeer too!". Also a great Christmas idea for the Dad in your life that likes fancy beer "but not that hazy, fruity crap!" (to my children: please note that that's not me! But each to their own...). So let your tastebuds take a German adventure through Aktien Lanbier, Weltenburger (mmm....burger.....) and Andechs breweries.

Echo Chamber from Mountain Culture Beer Co is an ode to their love of our beautiful area. So whilst you're sipping this fabulous NEIPA, take a moment to reflect on some of the things you love most about our community!

(I'll go first - "the fact that the BMCC garbage truck drivers, and local bus drivers ALWAYS wave at my young kids and make their day!", Murray)

It's the "staff favourites" wine-tasting this week! These have become a bit of a feature this year, where we don't focus on one particular winery, but instead, run it ourselves (with the fabulous alumni Sarah, not pictured...) with some hand-picked delights which we are sure will please! (Murray's so excited he snuck in a photo-bomb....immature at best....).
A lovely cheeky French Rose, a crisp Marlborough Sauv Blanc, Victorian Chardonnay, a Spanish Rioja, Italian Pinot Grigio, and an Adelaide Hills Shiraz. Great picks!

'Double Take' from One Drop Brewing Co. , has got us....well, ya know.....double taking (is that a word?). If you've got young kids, get them to play "Spot the Difference" on the reverse image. Pretty sure that's how Murray & Charlotte are entertaining the little two this rainy weekend!

Shake and Bake from our good friends at Reckless Brewing Co.? They've mentioned to us previously that they need to get more interesting beer names to feature in our highlights, and this time THEY HAVE DELIVERED. Pretty cool concept that you can drink them individually, or "Shake and Bake" them into a "black and tan". Murray sure enjoyed the mix. Not sure why he asked for a second, and a third, and a fourth take though....

BTW - we just got in the colab between Mountain Culture and Range and it is A1 superstar level! (not pictured)

A bit late this week! Charlotte has gone away, and surprise surprise, Murray has dropped the ball....
But here's all you need to know about a fabulous ""local"" wine tasting this Friday night from Rutherglen Estates.
But how can ""Rutherglen Estates"" be considered local when they're obviously on the NSW/Vic border? That's because the man who grew the grapes, their Chief Viticulturist, is none other than the Blaxland High School alumni, Matt Partridge (not pictured, that's Tony!). Matt and Murray grew up together and were even Best Men at each other's weddings (or ""first wedding"" in the case of Murray....).
The wines are great - they were a hit at Blaxland East last week, with the Shiraz and the Arneis (bet you've never tried an Arneis!) being the crowd favourites. But come and find out and judge for yourself!

Hawkers Beer “Cool Side of the Pillow” could only mean one thing – PILLOW FIGHT!! (Oh yeah, and it could also mean “good beer” too I guess…). We were going to be stereotypical and have lingerie clad models in the pillow fight, but to be honest – Tony, Ben and Murray really just don’t look that good in bra and undies (and trust me, we’ve seen them!
