Who needs Byron Bay when you can have Callala Bay! We were lucky enough to purchase a house on the beautiful south coast of NSW a few months back and now it’s ready to rent for the holiday season-Yippee! 2 min walk to the gorgeous Callala Bay Beach guaranteed. Also managed to sneak in a couple of ripping bottles on location before having to deal with the Christmas chaos. Link is in the bio if you want to check out our accommodation.

What a privilege it was to taste the incredible new releases from restaurant last week. Each wine was unique and full of character, showcasing their own personality’s. The Rozas 1er Cru stood out for its exceptional price-to-quality ratio, especially compared to more renowned European wine regions. Old Vine Garnacha at its finest! 2020 Dominio del Águila ‘Pícaro’ Clarete: We loved the 2018 release of this wine, and the new 2020 vintage is just as captivating. A delightful blend of white and red grapes from Ribera del Duero, it’s the perfect wine for warm weather.
 
Vitícola Mentridana ‘Las Uvas de la Ira’ Garnacha: An exciting new project from Daniel Landi of Comando G fame and his childhood friend Curro Bareño. This showcases old-vine Garnacha at its finest.
 
Envínate, Ribeira Sacra: Fresh arrivals of the outstanding Envínate Mencía wines from Ribeira Sacra. We even managed to secure some of their single-vineyard selections—fantastic choices for Pinot Noir lovers eager to explore something different.

The lineup features a stellar Chardonnay, a ripping Cab Franc, and a remarkably well-priced Central Otago Pinot Noir— don’t say that everyday. Perfect wines for any day of the week! Domaine Jamet-Rhone Valley Icon
 
 More Rhone Valley goodness for the store, this time from one of the area’s most famous producers. The two Jamet brothers went their separate ways in 2013, but his has defiantly not diminished the quality of the Domaine Jamet wines or their access to some of the finest vineyards in the area. We currently have a selection of both their whites and red available in store and through the website , including their famed Côte-Rôtie and an outstanding value Côtes du Rhône Syrah. Perfect winter wines!

Lots of beautiful wines have arrived over the last few weeks but not many better than the new releases from Domaine de la Roche Paradis. We’ve been enamoured since they first arrived in-store a few years ago, and the new wines have only stepped up in quality.
Yann Menager, owner and winemaker of this small domain established in 2012, is based in Saint-Joseph, just south of Condrieu. As the former vineyard manager for Yves Cuilleron for nearly 20 years, Yann has utilized his knowledge of the steep northern wine region to acquire beautifully positioned vineyards in Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, and Côte Rôtie.
These wines are a perfect inspiration for Bastille Day, and we have both the 2021 reds and 2022 whites available in-store and through our website. Link in bio.

Have always loved this wine but the quality has seemed to have even gone up a notch in 2022. Absolute brilliant Beaujolais Villages and one of the best sub $30 retail wines out there. On promo in store for the next few months. Happy long weekend everyone!

How great is Australian wine! This week, we’ve been treated to some stunning new releases.

We recently had the pleasure of sampling the fantastic new offerings from . With great value across the range, their Clarendon Shiraz and Grenache are definite must-haves and will only get better with more time in the cellar.

remains a perennial favourite in our store, and we anticipate that this year’s releases will be no exception. The 2023 Chardonnay is already drinking beautifully.

We’re thrilled to announce that wines are now available. Known for producing some of Australia’s finest Pinots, we can’t wait to share these exceptional wines with our customers.

Beautiful New Beaujolais! We are very pleased to have the wonderful wines from Yoahn Lardy now available in store. Lardy is one of a new generation of terroir-focussed producers in Beaujolais, producing wines which have quickly gained world wine attention. These are
