NEW WINES in store 🥂 🍷:estate SIENNA 2017 Single Vineyard RIESLING (Adelaide Hills) Named after the first daughter of the 6th generation of Smeaton lineage, the ‘Sienna’ is a pure expression of true Riesling grape flavours, and reflects the unique terroir and 440 metre altitude of the Martin Hill vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. Best enjoyed by itself or paired with a variety of seafood and asian dishes. The wine will also reward long term ageing over at least 20 years. $30estate STELLA 2023 Single Vineyard CHARDONNAY (Adelaide Hills) A special chardonnay with special characteristics. Bold, inviting, full of character and warmth. Just like her namesake, Stella Wong! With a limited release of just 200 cases, our inaugural ‘Stella’ Chardonnay will leave your taste buds eagerly awaiting the next vintage. $60

Seven Sleepers CABERNET SAUVIGNON SHIRAZ PETIT VERDOT 2021 and SHIRAZ 2021 Seven Sleepers, better known by those of German Heritage in Barossa Valley as Siebenschläfer, is based on weather conditions on the 27th June. If it rains on the 27th June, it will rain for the next seven weeks, similarly, if it’s sunny that day, it will stay fine for seven weeks, or so the story goes. $25

4 WEEK WINE APPRECIATION WITH
Our 4 Week Wine Appreciation Course runs over 4 consecutive Thursdays and is the perfect option for anyone with an interest in wine who wants to improve their knowledge and confidence.
It is a slightly more relaxed version of the more intense Saturday Course.
The course is usually presented by Rob Geddes MW. Rob was the 3rd Australian to achieve the Master of Wine title and has been a leading educator, presenter and author for the past 30 years.
The course content over the 4 weeks is as follows:
Week 1 - Introduction (8+ wines) Learn how your palate works
Week 2 - White Wines (10+ wines)
Week 3 - Red Wines (10+ wines)
Week 4 - Champagne/Sparkling and Fortified Wines (10+ wines)
Over 40 wines are tasted throughout the course with topics covered including:
Varietal and Regional Characteristics
Food and Wine Matching
Identifying aromas and flavours
How to buy and store or order and drink wine
Effect of glassware
The aim of the course is to give participants the knowledge to confidently predict the taste of a bottle of wine whilst having the knowledge to know what they like and why they like it.

They avoid the industrial standardisation of wine. Their only constant is the standard of care that they put into making each of their own wines. Wines are made in extremely small quantities!!!
Chardonnay 2022 - A texture and full bodied Chardonnay with stone fruit and melon notes, malolactic fermentation and matured in French oak for 10 months.
Merlot-Malbec 2021 - the red fruited elegance of Merlot combines beautifully with the power and structure of Malbec and all its blackcurrant and cherry characters.

and IronBark Hill Vineyard lie at the foot of the Brokenback Range, in the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country. Their 100 acre property, with 40 acres under vine, grows grapes for which the Hunter Valley is famous, including Chardonnay, Shiraz and Semillon, as well as niche varieties including Verdelho and Barbera.
