🍊 Mandarin appreciation post 🍊
The seasons are changing, and with the cooler days come these beautiful sweet new season mandarins. Some years these take a while to really reach peak deliciousness, but these ones from Queensland we've just got in are outstanding. So sweet and just a little bit tangy. So yum.

This year we’re offering a seriously gourmet cheese and meat grazing platter for Christmas.

We’ve spent the last few months sourcing the finest local and European artisanal charcuterie and cheese, and are seriously excited to offer you this showstopping spread!

Each box is unique and assembled to order, and will include:

4 cheeses
4 meats
1 terrine
1 paté
1 Quince paste
1 gourmet olives
1 cornichons
2 packs of crackers/wafers/lavosh
Selection of fresh and dried fruits

Price - $145

All portions will be generous and selections will be balanced across types of cheese and meat.

Burraneer! We’ve now got fresh fish at the local!

A select range of market fresh seafood - juicy garlic prawns, fresh Tasmanian salmon, and succulent white fillets (wild caught Barramundi and Ling).
And Salmon Cakes for the kiddies or BBQ.

Nothing too complicated. Just the ones you need on the regular, and we make sure it’s good.

We’ve been down to the flower market and brought back some beauties 💗

🍃 Beautiful native bunches are stylish, understated and Aussie!
🍝 We love these spaghetti Gerberas, so playful & gorgeous
🎄 Lovely Wax to get us into the Christmas spirit
🌈 Mixed bunches in some seriously showstopping colours we just had to grab
🦘 Kangaroo Paw because always
🧦 Magnums - grown local on the Central Coast - still in their socks just waiting to bloom at yours!
💕 Pink Lillies are eternal
🪷 King Proteas coming up pink with a lemon blush are serious wow!

Flowers are going to be a thing at Burraneer Grocer. We’ll be visiting the market a couple of times a week, working with the growers to bring you the freshest, seasonal, most interesting and vibrant flowers, at the best prices.

Because life is just better with flowers!

Hey Burraneer! We’re Katie and Max (and Margot 👶) and we’re so excited to be taking on the burraneer grocer and getting to know you all!

Firstly we’d like to thank Mark and the whole fam for welcoming us in and being general beautiful legends 💚

We know we’ve got big shoes to fill, and we’re first and foremost committed to maintaining the freshest and best quality fruit and veg for you guys. Working with Mark and our same suppliers at the markets, that won’t change 🍍

On top of that, we’re shaking a few things up - and its all about offering you more delicious things to try!

We’ll be adding new stuff all the time so watch this space. Or better yet, come in and say hi!
