Pokolbin General Store: The Final Farewell 🎭

Well, folks, the time has come. After years of laughs, memories, and a few too many tourists asking, “Where’s the wine tasting?”, Pokolbin General Store has officially closed its doors for good.

But don’t worry! You can still get your hands on the same delicious burgers and sandwiches over at Bellbird Takeaway, where the grill is always hot and the jokes are just as cheesy.

For your general store needs, head to The Store at Hunter Valley Gardens. And if it’s pharmaceuticals you’re after, the Pokolbin Village Pharmacy (top car park at Hunter Valley Gardens) has you sorted.

Thank you all for your incredible support over the years. This isn’t goodbye—it’s more like “Catch us at Bellbird Takeaway!”

The cash machine is back in action, and it's ready to make your wallet feel heavy again — or at least slightly less embarrassing. So come on down, withdraw your money, and hey, maybe even buy something! I mean, it’s the least you can do after all the emotional support we’ve provided this week. 😂

Attention, folks! It’s a rare event at the Pokolbin General Store—we’re officially out of cash! That’s right, our ATM is taking a little vacation. We swear, it’s not a ‘withdrawal’ problem—more of an early retirement situation. But don’t worry, the new ATM is en route and promises to be less temperamental. So if you need cash, you might have to resort to old-school methods like… asking a friend. But stay tuned, because later this week, our shiny new ATM will be here, ready to spit out cash faster than you can say ‘buy me a coffee!’

We’ve heard the rumors and want to set the record straight: Pokolbin General Store has NOT been sold. However it is true that we have put the business on the market for sale and are taking genuine questions/offers.
But as always we are still here serving our wonderful community until further notice (you don’t get rid of us that easily) and when the time comes we will be the first to make the announcement.
