Watch school children from Como, Western Australia, supporting the #ComoCares initiative of their parents, feeding children in need from their community. That initiative is financed solely by the generosity of the families and friends of the two local businesses involved, Busy Bee Deli and Mother's Kitchen Curry House. Being small businesses, talking daily to their customers, they know very well how much their community is hurting under the national lock-down. They can also sense how it is bringing us all closer together and are committed to play their part. During the event shown in this video, their children formally handed over their piggy-banks to contribute to #ComoCares, donating hundreds of dollars each. The children, aged between five and seven, had insisted to contribute within their humble means.

Hello Friends & Love ๐ you all
It sometimes takes a conscious effort to focus on the positive side of things. The current health-scare and lock-down caused by COVIT-19 is one of them. What could be good about such a terrible event?! The one thing that sticks out the most to the Busy Bee ๐ Deli team is how this event made us all more down-to-earth and focused on whatโs most important: our families, our health and โ last, but not least โ our community. COVIT-19 brought us closer to our fellow human beings.
Unfortunately, there are lots of people who are suffering financially as a result of the lock-down. Here at the Busy Bee ๐ Deli, we are painfully aware of this. We talk and listen to our customers from all walks of life. We hear you. We know where you are hurting. And are doing what we can within our humble means.
Not only have we decided to keep the shop doors open and respond to our customersโ changing needs. Busy Bee Deli has also teamed up with nearby โMotherโs Kitchen Curry ๐ Houseโ and is now giving away free food to those most in need.
Until further notice, we provide 50 free ready food every day to confirmed recipients. Please ring GEM on 0422 013 613 to confirm your free meal. Free dinners are served at โMotherโs Kitchen Curry ๐ Houseโ RUBY on 0450262407
